Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has zero chance of winning the Republican nomination.
Christie only entered the race because he thinks he can destroy Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis.
But Marjorie Taylor Greene is furious about the racist remark Chris Christie made to Vivek Ramaswamy at the debate.
Eight Republican White House hopefuls took the stage recently in the first GOP Presidential debate of the Primary.
Donald Trump refused to participate in the debate because of his massive lead in the polls and in part due to his ongoing feud with Fox News Channel.
Trump’s decision to skip the debate led to businessman and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy becoming the top target of attack on stage.
“In Milwaukee, many candidates took aim at Ramaswamy, a 38-year-old entrepreneur and political newcomer who has been ascending in the polls in recent weeks,” CBS reported.
Ramaswamy defended Donald Trump against Biden’s lawfare and vowed to pardon him if elected President.
His defense of Trump quickly made him the top enemy on stage for Chris Christie.
This led to several heated exchanges between the two.
“Later, in the first bit of the debate, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie compared Ramaswamy’s answers to something cranked out by ChatGPT,” CNN reported. “Christie then capitalized on Ramaswamy rhetorically asking what a little-known guy with a funny name was doing on the debate stage by pointing out that the quip sounded awfully like Barack Obama’s old stump line about him being ‘a skinny kid with a funny name who believes that America has a place for him.’”
But Christie found himself under fire after the debate from an unexpected source in that of Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Greene is one of Trump’s biggest supporters in Congress.
And she was not happy with what she called a “racist” attack against Ramaswamy.
“I was pretty disgusted by Chris Christie and his racist comment towards Vivek Ramaswamy,” Greene said in an interview with Right Side Broadcasting Network. “He compared him to Obama,” she continued, before adding that “I thought that was pretty racist.”

Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz echoed Greene’s comments in the interview, adding that if he were Ramaswamy he would have responded by mocking Christie’s obesity.
“If I was Vivek, I would’ve turned to Chris Christie and said, ‘I knew you would’ve gotten triggered by the skinny comment,’” Gaetz said.
Ramaswamy instead responded to Christie by mocking him over his infamous Obama hug that many believe handed him the 2012 election.
“Come over and give me a hug!” Ramaswamy told Christie.
