Professional sports have been taken over by the woke Left.
Athletes who oppose the woke agenda are too afraid to speak out.
But leftists are raging over the six words former NFL quarterback Brett Favre said about Donald Trump’s Presidency.
Hall of Famer Brett Favre is a former Super-Bowl winning quarterback who spent twenty years in the National Football League (NFL) where he primarily played for the Green Bay Packers.
Today, Favre is mostly enjoying his retirement and occasionally appears on the NFL Network as a pregame analyst.
But unlike most current and former professional athletes, Favre is not afraid to voice his opinion on the current political issues of the day.
Favre recently appeared for an interview with conservative Jason Whitlock on his Fearless podcast.
During the interview, the two discussed the 2024 Presidential election and the transgender movement.
Favre dropped a truth bomb when he told Whitlock the country was in much better shape with Trump in office.
“I think our country was in better shape with him,” Favre said. “I think Donald was a non-political President, and I liked that about him.”
Favre admitted that Trump was not perfect, but also noted that neither is he.
“I’m flawed just like the rest of ’em,” Favre said. “We’re all flawed,” he continued, before adding “but I really felt like he had our country in a better place and really cared about our people in our country.”
“Black, white, Hispanic, Asian — you name it,” Favre continued. “I think if you were an American citizen, he cared about you, first and foremost.”
As for Biden, Favre said “I don’t know if our current President has the same mentality.”
He also discussed the push by radical leftists to force Americans to accept their woke gender insanity.
“To think that a young man who identifies as a girl, I don’t understand it,” Favre said.
Favre said he does not believe a man who claims to be a woman should be allowed to use the bathroom and locker room with girls.
“I think it is wrong,” he said. “I’m sorry, but I just think some things we’re allowing in this country are beyond belief.”
Favre added that there are numerous professional athletes who agree with him, but they remain quiet because the “vast majority are afraid of what it’ll do to their career.”
Brett Favre is retired.
He knows there’s not much the Left can do to threaten him.
And he is using his fame to sound the alarm about the dangerous woke ideology taking over the country.
