South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has been a target of Democrats.
She defied the COVID regime and kept her state open during the pandemic.
Now Noem’s enemy is bashing conservatives for a jaw-dropping reason.
Radical leftists are on the move across the country, even in Republican-led states.
And an opponent of South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem launched a direct assault on family values.
Democrat state Rep. Erin Healy labeled the Christian organization the Family Heritage Alliance an “extremist group” for promoting traditional values.
“Extremist group Family Heritage Alliance said this morning that the safest place for kids are in families that have a married mom and dad,” Healy wrote on Twitter. “What a dangerous and un-American belief.”

Of course, Healy limited who could reply to her ridiculous tweet, a common tactic of radical leftists who don’t want anyone to shatter their echo chamber.
Rep. Healy’s remarks are outrageous for several reasons.
First, it’s absurd to call a Christian organization an “extremist group” when its charter is to “champion the Judeo-Christian values of faith, family and freedom… by building alliances, promoting biblical citizenship, engaging the citizen’s voice, and equipping statesmen.”
If Healy wants to see what an extremist group looks like, she should pay attention to Antifa, a radical left-wing terror group that firebombed dozens of churches and crisis pregnancy centers across the nation in the wake of Roe v. Wade being overturned.
And all available statistical data show that children have the best chance for success when they’re raised in a household with a mother and a father who are married.
That doesn’t mean every single mother-father household is safe and nurturing, and that doesn’t mean every nontraditional structure is harmful.
But the numbers are indisputable.
Healy will have to explain how it’s “dangerous” to state the obvious.
Finally, Rep. Healy claimed that it’s “un-American” to promote the best family structure for children.
The Family Heritage Alliance is not calling for nontraditional families to be outlawed – they’re a Christian advocacy group working on behalf of what they believe is just.
There is nothing more American than that.
In response, the Family Heritage Alliance said that Healy “has completely disregarded what we know to be true about children and families. Growing up in the home of a married biological mother and father is the single largest predictor of success later in life. It’s highly ironic that she describes a well-known fact about child safety as dangerous and un-American.”
Healy refuses to defend her statements, which are consistent with so many leftists.
“This is well established, uncontroversial, and obviously not un-American to believe,” The Heritage Foundation’s Jay W. Richards tweeted. “How sealed does one’s echo chamber have to be to tweet something like this?”
The Left is attempting to turn America topsy-turvy.
