The royal family thought they'd buried the worst of the Epstein scandal when King Charles stripped his younger brother of the "prince" title back in October.
That was before the U.S. Department of Justice released over 3 million documents last Friday.
Now the man formerly known as Prince Andrew – call him Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor these days – is being kicked out of his 30-room mansion and shipped off to a farm in Norfolk.
DOJ Epstein Files Expose Buckingham Palace Emails and Photos
The Justice Department's massive Friday document dump included photographs appearing to show Andrew on all fours, leaning over an unidentified woman lying on the floor.
Both are fully clothed, woman's face redacted, no context provided.
The emails hit even harder.
August 2010: Epstein writes to someone listed as "The Duke" offering to introduce him to a dinner companion in London.
The response came back signed "A, HRH The Duke of York KG" – Andrew's signature at the time.
"Of course. I am in Geneva until the morning of 22nd but would be delighted to see her. Will she be bringing a message from you?"
Epstein's reply: She's 26, Russian, "clevere beautiful, trustworthy."
This happened two years after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting sex with a minor.
September 2010 brought another exchange – Epstein wrote he was in London and needed "private time" with Andrew.
Andrew's response: "Alternatively we could have dinner at Buckingham Palace and lots of privacy."
These weren't casual acquaintances catching up.
These were detailed coordination emails about meetings, introductions, and privacy at one of the most famous buildings on earth.
Virginia Giuffre Allegations and New Royal Lodge Investigation
Virginia Giuffre sued Andrew in 2021, accusing him of raping her when she was 17 and being trafficked by Epstein.
Andrew settled out of court in 2022 for an undisclosed sum while denying liability.
Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025, and most people figured that closed the book.
It didn't.
Now a second woman is considering a civil lawsuit over an alleged sexual encounter at Royal Lodge – Andrew's Windsor home – in 2010.
Her attorney Brad Edwards told the BBC she exchanged emails with Andrew before spending the night with him.
The anti-monarchy group Republic has already reported the allegation to London's Metropolitan Police.
The Met reviewed Giuffre's allegations multiple times starting in 2015 and never found grounds for investigation.
The latest DOJ release shows Andrew invited Epstein to Buckingham Palace days after Epstein finished house arrest following his 2008 conviction for procuring a child for prostitution.
That's not poor judgment – that's a deliberate choice to maintain friendship with a convicted sex offender who exploited children.
Royal Lodge Eviction: From 30 Rooms to Sandringham Farm
Andrew is reportedly moving temporarily to Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate – the same property where his father Prince Philip spent his final years.
After renovations complete, he'll relocate to Marsh Farm, another Sandringham property.
A source told The Sun: "It still needs a lot of attention to make it habitable. But one thing for sure is that it is a lot, lot smaller and less luxurious than Royal Lodge."
Andrew leased Royal Lodge – all 30 rooms of it – since 2003.
King Charles ordered him out in October 2025 when he stripped Andrew of his royal titles following renewed interest in the Epstein connections.
The last time a British royal lost their "prince" title was 1919.
The closest modern precedent: Edward VIII's 1936 abdication when he chose divorced American Wallis Simpson over the throne.
Edward got exiled to France and made Duke of Windsor – but at least he kept "His Royal Highness."
Andrew lost that too – he's now plain Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, eighth in line to the throne, living on whatever allowance Charles provides.
His ex-wife Sarah Ferguson – who also appears throughout the Epstein emails calling him her "supreme friend" – is seeking separate accommodations rather than following Andrew to farm life.
Even his closest ally knows when to cut losses.
Royal biographer Robert Jobson told People magazine he doubts farm exile will last, suggesting Andrew might eventually relocate to the Middle East where he could receive recognition as Queen Elizabeth's second son rather than endure continued disgrace at home.
UK Prime Minister Demands Prince Andrew Testimony Before US Congress
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer broke from previous diplomatic silence Saturday: "Anybody who's got information should be prepared to share that information in whatever form they're asked to do that. You can't be victim-centered if you're not prepared to do that."
That's the British Prime Minister publicly calling out a former prince to cooperate with American investigators.
House Democrats on the Oversight Committee sent Andrew a formal request in November for a "transcribed interview" about his "long-standing friendship" with Epstein.
Andrew ignored it – Congress lacks power to compel him, but the pressure keeps mounting.
Andrew claimed in his disastrous 2019 BBC interview that he severed all ties with Epstein in December 2010.
The newly released emails show contact continued through at least February 2011 – he lied on camera.
Documents reveal Andrew sent an email to Epstein on February 28, 2011: "I'm just as concerned for you! Don't worry about me! It would seem we are in this together and will have to rise above it."
That's not someone who cut ties – that's someone committed to weathering scandal alongside a convicted child predator.
Attorney General Pam Bondi is scheduled to appear before the House Judiciary Committee next month.
Epstein survivors are demanding she explain why DOJ released only 3 million of the 6 million pages they claim to possess.
The royal family's nightmare isn't ending – it's accelerating with fresh humiliation, more questions, deeper investigations at every document release.
King Charles acted swiftly by royal standards – stripping titles, forcing eviction, creating physical distance – but the photographs, emails, and allegations aren't going away just because Andrew moves to a farm.
The monarchy survived Edward VIII's 1936 abdication because he left quietly and lived in exile.
Andrew's exile is involuntary, incomplete, and accompanied by an evidence trail that keeps expanding.
Charles is trying to protect the crown his mother left him.
His brother is making that nearly impossible.
