Democrats are in full-blown panic mode about the midterms.
The January 6 hearings are their last shot to make an impression on the American people.
But Kevin McCarthy released one video that made the Left’s heads explode.
The Democrats are going all in on the January 6 House Select Committee televised hearings.
Their hope is to dirty up Donald Trump and the Republicans enough to make people forget about the Democrats’ abysmal record since Joe Biden took office.
The Democrats even hired a television producer and put the first day of the hearings on primetime television.
But House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy countered with a presentation of his own.
McCarthy tweeted, “The Democrat Party is for lawlessness and the breakdown of society. While they defund the police, violent crime is skyrocketing in our communities. Enough is enough.”
The video is a six-minute compendium of radical Democrat rhetoric and the result of pro-crime policies that leftists support, and the video could have been sixty minutes long.

The Democrats incessantly called for the police to be defunded.
Some radicals, including a writer for The New York Times, even called for the abolition of the police.
So they demonize the police, let criminals run rampant, and they’re surprised by the rise in crime.
It’s a completely incoherent philosophy.
On top of that, they don’t want people to be able to defend themselves against a violent mob, as evidenced by the political persecution of Kyle Rittenhouse.
Despite the Democrats’ best effort, the January 6 hearings are not bearing the fruit they wanted.
Ratings fell short of the networks’ typical lineups, and the numbers won’t get better as the hearings move to day-time television.
Democrats have a lot of ground to make up if they hope to maintain control of Congress in the Midterms.
CNN data reporter Harry Enten explained, “I would say [Republicans are] looking very good from the historical context. Basically, I took the best Republican positions on the generic Congressional ballot at this point in Midterm cycles since 1938 — that generic ballot basically is, ‘Would you vote for the generic Republican or generic Democrat in your district?’ And guess what, since 1938, the Republican two-point lead on the generic Congressional ballot is the best position for Republicans at this point in any Midterm cycle in over 80 years. It beats 2010 when Republicans were up a point. It beats 2014, 2002, 1998, where Democrats led by a point, and in all of those four prior examples that make this list of the top five, look at that, who won a majority? It was the Republicans who won a majority.”
The Republican lead in the generic Congressional ballot is up to an eye-opening 3.5 points.
The Midterms are shaping up to be a historic loss for the Democrats, and fear-mongering about Donald Trump over something that happened 17 months ago is not going to move the needle.
