Iran has been trying to build a nuclear bomb for decades and an American citizen just spent 13 years helping them do it.
Now Kash Patel's FBI has him in handcuffs.
And the $35 million Orange County mansion he built with the blood money – that's going to the United States government.
The Man Living Like a King While Arming America's Enemy
Jamshid Ghomi, 63, is a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen and CEO of a Tehran-based tech company called Faraz Pardaz Rayaneh.
From 2011 to 2023, he used that company to smuggle American networking, security, and encryption equipment directly to Iran's military and nuclear establishment.
Not to random Iranian businesses.
To the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran – the agency responsible for building the bomb.
Between 2014 and 2018 alone, he moved more than 250 metric tons of controlled U.S. networking equipment into Iran's weapons infrastructure.

His company pulled in over $10 million a year doing it.
He used personal eBay and PayPal accounts, UAE-based front companies, and freight forwarders to hide the shipments – and specifically told co-conspirators to keep his name off every document.
When federal agents raided his Newport Coast estate Wednesday, they weren't looking at a modest suburban home.
They were standing in a $35 million mansion built brick by brick with money from selling American technology to the ayatollahs.
What Kash Patel Said Next
FBI Director Kash Patel didn't hold a press conference.
He went straight to X: "It's simple if you BETRAY this country we will FIND you, and you will face JUSTICE!"
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche laid out exactly what Ghomi did – selling computer technology to Iranian companies and Iran's government, including technology to help with Iran's military and nuclear program – and said he aided an enemy, supported Iran's nuclear program, and got rich doing it.

First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli didn't sugarcoat the endgame.
"We will be taking the mansion," Essayli said. "The mansion will become property of the United States government. You cannot enrich yourself in violation of our laws and live in a mansion. That's not gonna happen."
If convicted, Ghomi faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
This Is the Pattern Democrats Never Want You to See
This case isn't unique.
In 2022, a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen named Kambiz Attar Kashani was arrested for shipping U.S. electronics to the Central Bank of Iran – an institution designated as a terrorist financier for funding Hezbollah and the IRGC's Qods Force.
He got 30 months.
The pattern is identical every time: American citizenship used as cover, UAE front companies as the pipeline, Iran's weapons programs as the end customer.
Ghomi allegedly ran this operation for 13 years and moved more than $15 million from Iran back into U.S. bank accounts – four of those years while Biden's team was begging Iran back to the nuclear deal table.

While Obama-Biden alumni were promising Tehran sanctions relief and a path to legitimacy, their guy in Orange County was shipping encryption hardware to the agency building the bomb.
The Biden administration didn't just ignore Iran's nuclear program.
They created the political climate that made men like Ghomi feel untouchable.
The 35 Million Dollar Lesson
Trump's DOJ isn't just prosecuting Ghomi – they're going after everything he owns.
The mansion goes to the government.
The assets get seized.
The ayatollahs can't build the networking and encryption systems they need – so they find Americans willing to do it for them.
Ghomi was their inside man for 13 years, living in a $35 million palace while arming people who want us dead.
Kash Patel found him.
Now the mansion belongs to the country Ghomi betrayed.
