Kamala Harris is trying to act Presidential in the closing weeks of the election.

But she made one mistake that undermined her case.

And Kamala Harris was blindsided when a Clinton advisor gave her this scary news.

Clinton advisor slams Kamala Harris for response to Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene became the second deadliest storm to hit the country in the last 50 years behind Hurricane Katrina.

Nearly 200 people are dead and hundreds more are missing.

Helene left a path of destruction that ran from Florida to Virginia.

Historic rainfall from the storm in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee created historic flooding that washed away entire towns.

Entire towns in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina are cut off from the outside world because of the flooding.

Vice President Kamala Harris spent the weekend after Helene attending a fundraiser in San Francisco with celebrities.

President Joe Biden was at the beach in Delaware.

Democrat consultant Doug Schoen – who worked for former President Bill Clinton – was taken aback by the response to Hurricane Helene by President Biden and Vice President Harris.

He argued that both of them should have been on the ground in North Carolina shortly after the storm hit during an appearance on Fox News.

“Harris, I’m speechless. Having worked in a White House that was responsive,” Schoen said. “Vice President Harris and President Biden should have been in North Carolina.”

Schoen called it a bad decision politically and optically as leaders.

“They should have been there for substantive reasons, they should have been there for political reasons and personal reasons,” Schoen explained. “Yes, you want to get briefed at FEMA, but if you’re in the midst of a tough election campaign where the question is, are you in touch, do you care and can you change the way the country is being run, to show this level of cavalier indifference, just literally takes my breath away.”

Kamala Harris fails a test of leadership

Kamala and Biden claimed that they didn’t want to show up on the ground in storm-ravaged areas by Helene because it might get in the way.

Former President Donald Trump beat them to the scene when he showed up in Valdosta, Georgia, with supplies for Samaritan’s Purse – the relief group run by Reverend Franklin Graham – to distribute.

Americans are suffering, and there was no sign of leadership coming from Washington, D.C.

The military could have been called up immediately after the storm to help with search and rescue efforts from nearby bases.

But Biden waited nearly a week to activate 1,000 soldiers to help with relief efforts.

FEMA has been slow to respond and under the Biden-Harris administration, they’ve made equity the agency’s top goal.

Kamala eventually traveled to Augusta, Georgia, where she held a photo-op event where she took directions from officials to walk around and look concerned.

She added insult to injury when she announced that storm victims would be getting $750 in three weeks.

The Biden-Harris administration has spent $250 billion in Ukraine, which works out to be about $6,000 for every citizen.

Americans are getting put last by the response to Hurricane Helene by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
