Kamala Harris failed spectacularly trying to secure the border as Joe Biden’s “Border Czar.”

Apparently, she had a higher priority at the southern border than stopping illegal immigration.

Kamala Harris is worried about pollution at the southern border

Vice President Kamala Harris is taking flaking for her record securing the southern border as President Joe Biden’s “Border Czar.”

She led the Biden-Harris administration’s efforts overseeing the worst border crisis in the country’s history.

It turns out she had no interest in doing anything at the southern border during her time leading the administration’s efforts.

But there was one crisis at the southern border she was interested in tackling when she was serving in the U.S. Senate.

Then-Senator Harris was worried in 2019 about the “ongoing pollution crisis along California’s border with Mexico.”

An archive of her Senate website from 2019 revealed that Harris and several California Democrat lawmakers wrote the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and other agencies in former President Donald Trump’s administration demanding a plan of action to combat pollution at the California-Mexico border.

“Over the past couple of months, the region has experienced several cross-boundary flows, totaling millions of gallons of treated and untreated wastewater flowing into the United States and affecting our constituents,” Harris and her colleagues wrote.

“[The flows are] only one recent example of the dire environmental conditions vulnerable populations along the border experience . . . Air pollution resulting from agricultural burns, diesel fumes, a shrinking Salton Sea and other sources emanates throughout the Imperial Valley and contributes to high rates of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart disease, and stroke,” the lawmakers added.

The letter demanded that more aggressive action be taken to monitor water and air quality at the southern border.

Kamala Harris is lying to voters about her political priorities

Harris is trying to erase her political history and reinvent herself to voters now that she’s become the Democrat Presidential nominee.

She’s running ads that claim she wants to hire more Border Patrol agents.

But her lengthy political history reveals that she’s opposed border security her entire political career.

Harris and a group of Democrat Senators called for halting funding for Trump’s border wall, new agents for the Border Patrol, and additional employees at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

She’s called for ICE to be abolished and accused the agency of committing “crimes against humanity,” comparing them to the KKK in 2018 and saying images of ICE agents on horseback engaging illegal aliens “evoked slavery.”

And she vowed to vote against funding to build a border wall because it was a “stupid use of money.”

Harris ran for President in 2020, vowing to decriminalize illegal border crossing and promising free healthcare for illegal aliens. 

Illegal immigration was a serious political vulnerability for Biden when he was in the race.

That’s why Harris is trying to distance herself from her role in the border crisis. 

Clearly, Kamala Harris will say and do anything to get elected.

But her long political track record confirms that she has no intention of ever securing the southern border.
