There is a reason Democrats don’t want Kamala Harris out in front of the cameras.
It leads to embarrassing situations like this.
And Kamala Harris humiliated herself on national television with this insane meltdown.
Democrats want the 2024 election to be a referendum on abortion.
In the 2022 Midterm, Democrats pummeled Republican candidates who refused to take a position on the issue and hoped it would just go away.
That ostrich position allowed Democrats to skate without having to answer for their extremism on the issue.
The official position of the Democrat Party is they support abortion-on-demand up until birth and forcing taxpayers to fund the procedure.
Democrats deny this is the case, but they can’t name a single restriction on abortion that they support.
Kamala Harris showed this to be the case in her disastrous interview with CBS Face the Nation host Margaret Brenna.
Brennan asked Harris point blank at what point she believed states could restrict abortion.
“What is it that you believe? I mean, what week of pregnancy should abortion access be cut off?” Brennan asked Harris.
And no matter how many times or in how many different ways Brennan asked Harris about when she favored restricting abortion Harris responded by robotically repeating the same talking point about how she wanted to restore Roe v. Wade.
“We need to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade,” Harris replied.
“We need to put back the protections that are in Roe v. Wade into law,” Harris answered under pressure.
“We need to put back in place the protections of Roe v. Wade,” Harris responded.
“We need to put into law the protections of Roe v. Wade,” Harris stated.
“I believe that we should put the protections of Roe v. Wade into law,” Harris declared.
There is a reason Kamala Harris doesn’t want to say Democrats support abortion-on-demand up until birth.
That’s because a Gallup poll found just 22 percent of Americans support that fringe position.
And the last thing Democrats want is the abortion debate to turn into a referendum on their support for aborting babies up until the moment of birth.
“I am being precise. We need to put into law the protections of Roe v. Wade. And that is about going back to where we were before the Dobbs decision,” Harris robotically repeated.
