Kamala Harris had to hide from Barack Obama for this crazy reason

Barack Obama delivered the closing speech on night two of the Democrat Convention.

But Kamala Harris was nowhere to be found.

And that’s because Kamala Harris had to hide from Barack Obama for this crazy reason.

Kamala Harris can’t be seen with Barack Obama after palace coup against Joe Biden

It was noticeable that no speaker, other than Barack Obama, mentioned Joe Biden on night two of the Democratic National Convention.

But what was also noticeable was the fact that Kamala Harris was 90 miles away, holding an event in Milwaukee at the same time the Democrat Convention was going on.

The reason for Kamala’s absence was simple.

Fox News reports hard feelings remain about the coup against Joe Biden

Kamala Harris is still Joe Biden’s Vice President.

That put her in the awkward situation of benefiting from the coup that Barack Obama helped lead that ended Joe Biden’s political career.

Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich reported that Biden is still furious with Obama.

“VP Kamala Harris held an event 90 miles away from the DNC on the night the party’s two most popular figures, Barack and Michelle Obama, campaigned on her behalf – and a source familiar with DNC planning tells FOX says that choice was made out of sensitivity and respect to Joe Biden. ‘Obamas are still not on the White House good side,’” Heinrich reported a source telling her.

Obama’s aides were all over cable news and social media for weeks, pounding Biden as unelectable.

George Clooney authored a New York Times op-ed calling Biden senile and urging him to drop out of the race.

Joe Biden knew this all happened with Obama’s blessing.

And to maintain the illusion of party harmony, Kamala’s campaign made sure she was elsewhere when Barack Obama spoke.

“‘It would not be helpful to their relationships,’ Fox is told this plan came together to avoid the optics of Harris – still serving as Biden’s Vice President – appearing alongside one of the figures he views as responsible for driving the end of his reelection bid – at the very convention which was supposed to be his only weeks ago. ‘We are in tricky territory,’” Heinrich reported the source telling her.

The other reality is Obama didn’t want Kamala as the nominee either.

When Biden quit the race, Obama endorsed an open process.

And when the party quickly embraced Kamala as the nominee, Barack and Michelle Obama were the last two holdouts to endorse her.

So, while Barack Obama thought very little of Joe Biden’s chances to defeat Donald Trump, Obama thought even less of Kamala Harris.
