Things aren’t going well for Kamala Harris in the sprint to Election Day.

Even her allies in the media can’t cover up what’s going on.

And Kamala Harris got some bad news from NBC that reduced her to tears.

Kamala Harris is running out of steam in the homestretch

Democrats and their media allies thought in September that the coup against President Joe Biden worked to perfection.

Vice President Kamala Harris gave Democrats a jolt of enthusiasm after being swapped in for Biden.

She overtook former President Donald Trump in national polling in early August.

The media declared her the winner of the Presidential debate and afterward, she opened up her biggest lead in the RealClearPolitics polling average.

Democrats were ready to start measuring the drapes at the White House.

But Kamala’s campaign has unraveled over the last six weeks of the race as voters got to see more of her and discovered they didn’t like her.

NBC News polling expert Steve Kornacki admitted that Trump had momentum at the end of the race during a segment on Meet the Press

Trump has been gaining in national and swing state polls over the last month.

“One thing we have noticed in the last couple of days, this is not all of the polls that are out there now, but we have seen a number – four in the last four days – that have shown very small, but in the context of this close race, potentially meaningful movement in Trump’s direction,” Kornacki said.

“I don’t want to overstate it, but at the same time, it’s hard to ignore these four,” Kornacki added.

A fresh set of polls from The New York Times, CNBC, Wall Street Journal, and CNN all showed movement in Trump’s direction.

“The CNBC poll came out the other day has Trump ahead by two. The Wall Street Journal poll, Trump ahead by three. Sienna and The New York Times, a tied race. CNN, a tied race,” Kornacki explained. “The significance here is broader movement, again, we are seeing in Trump’s direction.”

Kornacki noted that in MSNBC’s poll, Trump gained 1.8% in over a couple of weeks.

The trend across national polling is movement toward Trump in the race’s homestretch.

A warning sign emerges for Kamala Harris

Kamala was the most unpopular Vice President in modern history based on polling before she entered the race.

Her favorability shot up after she replaced Biden because she avoided the public and had billions of dollars worth of favorable media coverage propping her up.

Now, that favorability number is plummeting as she put herself out there more for voters to see.

“[CNBC] picked up on something that our own NBC poll was suggesting recently, and that is a shift in the image of Kamala Harris,” Kornacki said. “You could see right now in the CNBC poll, 42 positive, 48 negative. Higher negative than positive.”

Kornacki pointed out that her negatives were increasing.

“The significance is about a month ago when we were polling this, Harris had a higher positive than negative in our poll,” Kornacki added. “In the CNBC poll, in other polls out there right now, you see Harris now with that negative going back above that positive rating.”

Kamala Harris has lost momentum and is becoming more unpopular heading into Election Day.

That’s never a position a candidate wants to be in.
