Bill Clinton has been one of the leaders of the Democrat Party for decades.
But it’s not his party anymore.
And now Kamala Harris faced this awful choice about Bill Clinton.
CNN commentator tells Kamala to cancel Bill Clinton
Bill Clinton has spoken at every Democrat National Convention since 1988.
Clinton’s 1988 nominating speech for Michael Dukakis dragged on for so long that many thought they were watching Clinton’s political career implode in real time.
The convention in Chicago is supposed to be Kamala Harris’ crowning moment.
Kamala’s message is “turn the page.”
The goal is to trick voters into thinking Kamala Harris just appeared out of nowhere and had nothing to do with the last four years.
CNN’s Never-Trump RINO S.E. Cupp thinks Democrats scheduling Bill Clinton for a primetime speaking slot is a reminder that this is the same old Democrat Party.
“I don’t know why Bill Clinton is still at these DNCs. He is a problem. He is a bad look for Democrats,” Cupp told viewers.
“He has been at every DNC since he was elected and there’s no good reason for it. Quit Bill Clinton finally, please,” Cupp added.

Bill Clinton’s baggage
In the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton lost in part due to the fact that younger voters stayed home or voted third party out of disgust at the Clinton-dominated Democrat Party.
Since then, Clinton’s career was re-evaluated in the wake of the “Me Too” movement, where ever members of the media begrudgingly admitted that Juanita Broaddrick – who accused Clinton of rape in the 1970s – made a credible charge.
Kamala Harris’ message “Turn the page” and “We aren’t going back” message became untenable if Bill Clinton addressed the public in primetime.
But this is the dance Democrats have to operate.
The party is a hierarchical operation that Kamala doesn’t really control.
Kamala is only the nominee because party bosses like Nancy Pelosi decided to overrule the will of 14,000,000 Primary voters and stage a coup to remove Joe Biden – the sitting President – as the nominee.
Not one single person has ever voted for Kamala Harris as President.
That’s why she doesn’t control the speaking schedule at the Democrat National Committee.
The same party elites decided Kamala would be the candidate to manage the stage program at the convention.
And if they want Bill Clinton to speak – despite all the associations to the past – then Bill Clinton will speak.
That may or may not be in Kamala Harris’ best interests.
But it’s in the best interest of Bill Clinton.
And even the Trump-haters on CNN know it’s a risk.
