When LA rioters threw Molotov cocktails at ICE officers last summer, Kamala Harris called it a peaceful protest.
Now an armed man charged at an Ohio Democrat at a county fair – and suddenly she found her voice.
And Kamala Harris posted her outrage within hours – but nobody's told her what she said about the rioters who attacked federal agents.
The Canfield Fair Attack
On Sunday, a 38-year-old Canfield man named Patrick Havas pushed through a crowd at the Mahoning County Democrat Party tent at the Canfield Fair, knocked two people to the ground, and charged toward Ohio gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton as she was speaking.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers stopped him.
Investigators recovered two handguns, a Taser, and a set of brass knuckles.
Havas is now sitting in the Mahoning County Jail on two counts of assault and one count of disorderly conduct.

Acton – the former Ohio public health director – was uninjured and stayed on site to help treat those who were knocked down.
“Dr. Acton and Eric are grateful for the swift and decisive action of law enforcement and are praying for the recovery of those injured,” her campaign wrote in a statement. “This kind of violence has no place in Ohio.”
Republican Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign called the attack "completely unacceptable and has no place in politics."
“Candidates should be able to meet with voters without having to worry about threats or violence,” Connie Luck, who serves as the Communications Director for Vivek for Ohio said in a statement. “What happened today is completely unacceptable and has no place in politics, and we hope that no one was hurt.”
Republican Gov. Mike DeWine said the man "tried to forcefully push himself" toward Acton and called violence at political events "always unacceptable."
"Violence or the threat of violence at political or public events is always unacceptable," he said.
Kamala's Conscience Has a Filter
In June 2025, anti-ICE rioters in Los Angeles threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at federal officers, smashed windows at LAPD headquarters, blocked freeways, and set self-driving cars on fire.
Kamala Harris called it "overwhelmingly peaceful."
She did not condemn the attacks on federal agents.
She did not call the violence "horrifying."
She blamed Trump.
Newsweek noted at the time that Harris's statement stood in stark contrast even to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who explicitly called out the violence and destruction.

A California sheriff publicly called her out for it.
Now Amy Acton gets attacked at an Ohio county fair, and Harris is "horrified."
The difference between the two events isn't hard to find.
In Los Angeles, the mob was on her side.
In Ohio, the attacker wasn't.
That's always been the entire filter.
Remember when Harris spent the 2024 campaign warning America that Donald Trump was an existential threat to democracy – that his rhetoric would get people killed?
She gave that speech at the Ellipse.
The same spot where January 6th started.
Then the moment her allies started throwing things at cops, she couldn't find a single word of condemnation.
Democrats don't have a principle against political violence.
They have a preference about which side commits it.
“I am horrified by yesterday’s attack on Amy Acton in Ohio and grateful for the the actions of law enforcement and others who helped — including Dr. Acton herself, who stayed to help attend to the injured,” Harris wrote on Sunday,
"Political violence has no place in our nation," Harris added.
She means it – as long as it's not her people doing it.
