John Kennedy is one of the most colorful Members of Congress.
He’s taking off the gloves as the election gets vicious.
And John Kennedy spoke five brutal words about Kamala Harris that left Democrats stunned.
Kamala Harris gets nasty attacking Donald Trump
Vice President Kamala Harris’ handlers scrapped her campaign strategy and decided to finish the race with vicious attacks on former President Donald Trump.
She’s using the same playbook that President Joe Biden used before he dropped out of the race.
Kamala is smearing Trump with phony Hitler accusations from a media hoax and falsely claiming that he’s a threat to democracy.
Her campaign has given up making a case for why voters should pick her and leaning into fear-mongering as her final message.
U.S. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) thought her pivot reeked of desperation during an appearance on Fox News.
He joked that if Kamala walked by a polygraph machine “the dang thing would explode.”
“It’s worth examining why Vice President Harris is now behind,” Kennedy explained. “I think she’s behind because of all her gauzy rhetoric. People are uncertain about her. They don’t know if she has the right stuff to be President.”
“They’re worried that she was that kid in grade school who ate paste, they just don’t know,” Kennedy continued. “She hasn’t — she won’t be pinned down, I think in some cases she’s lying. People are worried that if she walked by a polygraph machine, the dang thing would explode.”
Voters still have unanswered questions about Kamala Harris
Kennedy pointed out that the joy the media said surrounded Kamala’s campaign was gone.
“People want to know what their President is going to do,” Kennedy said. “Now, I’ll tell you the other thing that’s changed in this race other than the vice president behind. Vice President Harris has adopted a new strategy. Joy is out. She’s adopted the Hillary Clinton deplorable strategy of 2016, which is if you vote for President Trump, you are a bad person.”
Kamala has stopped trying to make the sale with voters about her vision for the country’s future.
She’s going to try to scare them and hope that not being Trump is enough to win.
Clinton spent the end of the 2016 Election attacking Trump and his supporters before she went down in flames to defeat.
Some Democrats think that Kamala is using a failed playbook by calling Trump a fascist in the closing days of the race.
Detroit Democrat School Board member Sherry Gay-Dagnogo, who backs Kamala, warned that she’s overlooking the kitchen table issues that matter to voters.
“It doesn’t play well in communities that are struggling to make ends meet, and that’s the problem. They’re talking to the wrong people,” Gay-Dagnogo said. “We can’t keep campaigning on modes of fear.”
The most important issues to voters in the election are the economy, immigration, and the cost of living.
Kamala still hasn’t given voters many details on how she would tackle their biggest concerns.
Attacking Donald Trump delights the audience of MSNBC but voters ultimately want to know how a candidate is going to help them.
