The border crisis that President Joe Biden created when he took office has been a goldmine for human traffickers.
Children are being trafficked through Latin America to the southern border of the United States.
When these unaccompanied minors illegally cross the border, they are taken into custody before being given to a sponsor or family member.
Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) called out Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for an alarming scandal involving these illegal alien kids.

A bombshell report from an internal government watchdog revealed the horrors facing unaccompanied minors under the care of the Biden-Harris regime.
Biden-Harris turning over children to be exploited
The Department of Homeland Security Inspector General released a report that found that over 320,000 illegal alien kids who entered the United States without parents are unaccounted for by the Biden-Harris regime.
291,000 unaccompanied minors were turned loose in the country without any future immigration court dates as of May 2024.
The government has no way to account for what happened to them.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) released 32,000 unaccompanied minors with a future date for an immigration hearing who never showed up for court.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is responsible for looking after these kids until they are placed with a sponsor or a family member.
A whistleblower at HHS says a lack of vetting by the department of sponsors could have resulted in kids being handed over to gangs or sex traffickers.
Former HHS Tara Rodas worked with getting these illegal alien kids placed with a family member of a sponsor.
She told the New York Post that she was giving kids to “traffickers, members of transnational criminal organizations, bad actors, bad, bad, bad people.”
Rodas explained that sponsors don’t have to be family members, and no in-person vetting is done.
A phone call is all it takes for a sponsor to put their hands on a child.
“At the very beginning of the Biden administration, they stripped all the vetting out of the process,” Rodas explained.
Rodas told a House committee last month that she saw an alarming lack of vetting by HHS during her time there.
She recalled one case where a man claimed to be the brother of a 16-year-old girl.
“He was touching her inappropriately. It was clear her sponsor was not her brother,” Rodas said.
She added the girl “looked drugged” as if “she was for sale” online.
Rodas that some illegal aliens are pretending to be minors to avoid being deported.
The New York Times reported that some of these kids are being sold into slavery to work at slaughterhouses and factories.
