Joe Biden is hellbent on forcing every driver behind the wheel of a Bidenmobile.

He’ll use the heavy hand of government force to make it happen.

Now John Kennedy is going to war to stop this bad electric vehicle scheme dead in its tracks.

Joe Biden trying to outlaw the sale of gasoline-powered vehicles

President Joe Biden has made the mass adoption of electric vehicles one of his top priorities.

He’s spent hundreds of billions of dollars trying to prop up the electric vehicle industry.

Automakers have been showered with subsidies to switch their production to electric, and drivers receive generous government tax credits to buy them.

The Biden administration regularly extols the virtues of switching to them as the solution to high gas prices.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg mocked conservatives who didn’t want to buy them on Fox News as stuck in the past.

“The automotive sector is moving toward EVs, and we can’t pretend otherwise,” Buttigieg said. “Sometimes when these debates happen, I feel like it’s the early 2000s and I’m talking to some people who think that we can just have landline phones forever.”

But Americans don’t want to buy electric vehicles as they pile up on dealership lots unsold.

So Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued stringent new tailpipe emission standards to reduce pollution.

This will create a de facto electric vehicle mandate that will require that nearly two-thirds of all new vehicles sold in 2032 be electric.

And the price of the remaining gasoline-powered vehicles will go through the roof.

Drivers won’t make the switch voluntarily despite Biden’s best efforts, so he’s going to use government regulations to make it happen.

John Kennedy starts the fight against Biden’s electric vehicle mandate

U.S. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) is trying to stop the Biden electric vehicle mandates with two resolutions under the Congressional Review Act.

One would block the Biden EPA from enforcing its electric vehicle mandate for cars and the other for trucks.

The Congressional Review Act allows Congress to block rules from administrative agencies without being subject to a filibuster or being blocked by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

“Most Louisianians and Americans can’t afford Pres. Biden’s scheme to eliminate gas-powered cars,” Kennedy said. “His administration’s unfair EV mandates benefit Chinese manufacturing by butchering America’s auto industry. Congress must move fast to stop these rules from punishing American workers and families.”

Kennedy noted that nearly 4,000 car dealerships nationally sent a letter to Biden asking him to rescind the rule because they can’t get rid of their Bidenmobiles.

“Customers are also concerned about the loss of driving range in cold or hot weather,” the car dealers wrote Biden. “Some have long daily commutes and don’t have the extra time to charge the battery. Truck buyers are especially put off by the dramatic loss of range when towing.”

Drivers don’t want anything to do with electric vehicles.

Joe Biden will end up decimating the American auto industry and empowering China because of his fanatical commitment to fighting climate change.
