Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman had some bad news for Kamala Harris.
But no one expected this.
And John Fetterman had one nasty surprise that Kamala Harris is going to hate.
John Fetterman boycotts Democrat National Convention
John Fetterman (D-PA) is a sitting Senator from the most critical swing state in America.
That’s normally a golden ticket to a primetime speaking slot at your party’s nominating convention.
But not in John Fetterman’s case.
In fact, Fetterman is boycotting the convention in Chicago all together
“I’ve got three young kids, and they’re out of school,” Fetterman said in an interview with the Free Press.
Fetterman said he would rather spend the week with family
“That’s four days I can spend with my children,” Fetterman added.
When Fetterman ran for Senate in 2022, he was the darling of the socialist Left.
Fetterman was an unreconstructed Bernie Bro whose 6’8” frame and goatee made him an Internet celebrity.
Even though Fetterman votes the socialist Left line in the Senate – he’s in the hip pocket of big labor, supports taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand, and wants to ban and confiscate firearms – Fetterman is now on the outs with the base.
And it’s all because Fetterman condemned Hamas for the October 7 terrorist attack where jihadists butchered 1,200 Jewish civilians.
“I forcefully condemn these cowardly, horrifying, unprovoked attacks on Israel by Hamas. Attacking innocent civilians is particularly despicable and reflects the craven behavior of this terrorist group. I unequivocally stand with the people of Israel now, and always,” Fetterman wrote.

Fetterman skipped the convention because as many as 100,000 pro-Hamas protestors would descend on Chicago.
That angry mob could go beyond just harassing Fetterman verbally, so Fetterman decided to boycott his own party’s convention.
Fetterman’s staff denounces him
Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez denounced Fetterman as polls show 65 percent of young Americans have a favorable view of the pro-Hamas protests that sprung up in college campuses.
I understand you likely would not have stood up for your colleague and seem to be confused about racism and misogyny being a “both sides” issue.

But what came as a surprise was Fetterman’s own staff denouncing him
Fetterman’s Communications Director, Carrie Adams, publicly rebuked her boss for defending Israel and opposing Hamas.
“I don’t agree with him,” Adams told the Free Press about her boss’s stance on the war in Gaza.
Adams claimed Fetterman was out of touch with the kids.
“I have a sense that his international views are a lot less nuanced than my generation, because when he was growing up, it was might makes right, and for my generation and younger who, of course, are the ones protesting this, they have a much more nuanced view of the region,” Adams stated.
This is normally a fireable offense and one that makes you radioactive in politics.
But young Democrats know the institutional Democrat Party is with them, so there is no fear of reprisal.
