Joe Rogan Told AOC She Is Full of It and She Proved Him Right

AOC laughed off six years of radical Left insanity in fifteen seconds on national television.

Now the most listened-to podcaster in America is demanding she explain herself.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s response to Joe Rogan’s challenge is the only confirmation anyone needed that she really is full of it.

The Laugh That Started a Firestorm

On ABC's This Week, Ocasio-Cortez quoted a line from a local city councilman – "Woke 1 was crazy" – and laughed.

That was it.

No apology for the cities that burned.

No apology for the cops that were attacked.

No apology for the Americans who lost their jobs, their reputations, and their businesses when the radical left mob came for them.

Just a laugh and a pivot – from the woman who helped lead the charge.

Joe Rogan isn't buying it for a second.

"If you really thought 'Defund the Police' and then you just ascribed it to 'Woke 1 was crazy,' well, how did it get you?" Rogan said on his podcast. "Because it didn't get me."

He continued: "If you want us to take you seriously, you have to say how you f—ed up. You have to be honest, and you have to be authentic."

And then he delivered the line that every conservative has been waiting to hear someone say: "If you don't say that, then you're full of s—."

She Helped Lead the Charge

This isn't ancient history.

Ocasio-Cortez didn't just passively watch the radical Left burn through America's institutions.

She was the tip of the spear.

She campaigned against police funding while her own campaign spent thousands on private security.

She was a leading voice for the DSA – a group whose 2026 platform still calls for abolishing the Senate, the Supreme Court, and the presidency itself.

She cheered on the defund movement in 2020 while Minneapolis was on fire.

Now she wants to laugh it off as a quirky internet era – like it was a bad haircut and not a policy movement that gutted police departments, spiked violent crime, and wrecked Democrat candidates in election after election.

Republican strategist Brian Seitchik put it perfectly: "AOC walking back her support for wokeism is peak revisionist history. She wasn't some innocent bystander who got swept up in the insanity. She was one of the loudest and most recognizable ringleaders."

"Next she'll tell us she has a 'Back the Blue' sticker on her Prius," Seitchik added.

The Tell That Gives It All Away

Rogan's guest Chris Williamson asked the question Democrats don't want to answer.

"Think about what would have happened if Kamala had won," he said. "Would AOC have been talking about Woke 1.0 was crazy or would that have been a continuation of 'Well, look, we put the policies out, people like the policies'?"

That's not a moral reckoning – that's a losing party repositioning before the 2026 midterms.

Former White House policy official Theo Wold saw it clearly: "AOC's sarcastic dismissal of Woke 1.0 isn't a sign that Democrats are abandoning a leftist agenda. It's a sign that they're moving on to Phase 2 of their project."

Wold continued: "They won't abandon these ideas or apologize for them because they believe them, and when in power, they will ruthlessly advance them."

Even a Democrat consultant – Julian Epstein, a former House Judiciary Committee counsel – refused to pretend Woke 2.0 is any different.

"There is not much difference between Woke 1 and Woke 2," Epstein said. "They both involve the commodification of grievance and rage, and the packaging of lunatic ideas that do little to help voters and seek to make them permanent wards of the state."

Kamala Promoted the Bail Fund and the Tape Still Exists

Elizabeth Pipko, former RNC spokesperson, made the point that this should end the entire conversation.

"Watching Democrats in 2026 pretending they never called for defunding the police has been incredibly entertaining considering almost all of them still have old posts up clearly advocating for that very policy," she said.

She's right.

Kamala Harris promoted the Minnesota Freedom Fund bail-out operation on social media at the height of the George Floyd riots.

On a 2020 radio interview, she argued that putting more cops on the street was "not the smart way and the best way or the right way to achieve safety" – and told listeners the whole model needed to be reimagined.

The Biden-Harris campaign later denied she ever said it.

The tape exists.

This Is Who Democrats Are

Here's what Rogan – a man AOC's own base spent years trying to cancel – got exactly right.

The only way Democrats earn back credibility is to stand in front of America and specifically name what they got wrong and why.

Not "Woke 1 was crazy."

Specifically: "I was wrong to support defunding the police. I was wrong to push men into women's sports. I was wrong to let progressive prosecutors release violent criminals back onto your streets."

Without that, it's exactly what Rogan said.

Full of it.

Bishop Robert Barron, who was among the voices calling out AOC's dismissal, put it in human terms that cut through all the politics.

"I happen to know several people whose lives were devastated by Woke crusaders," he wrote. "But now it's just 'ha-ha, wasn't that crazy.' No, it was brutal and inhumane."

Real people lost their jobs.

Real people watched their businesses burn.

Real people buried family members in cities where progressive prosecutors stopped enforcing the law.

For AOC, that's a punchline.

For America, that's a reason to never let her near power again.
