Joe Biden’s approval ratings are in freefall.
Democrats are beginning to accept the writing on the wall.
And Biden will flip when he sees the most recent poll results.
Joe Biden’s approval numbers have fallen into the 30s, lower than Donald Trump’s at the same point in his presidency, which is a sore subject for Biden.
Record-high inflation and failures abroad have cratered support for Biden on various topics.
But the one poll result that will really get under Biden’s skin was about his fitness for office.
A majority of Americans do not believe he is up to the task mentally or physically.
Breitbart reported that a poll “conducted by Scott Rasmussen and RMG Research…asked the question, ‘How worried are you about the mental and physical fitness of President Joe Biden?’ Overall, 59 percent said they are worried, which includes 39 percent who are ‘very worried’ and 20 percent who are ‘somewhat worried.’”
It’s easy to see why 59% of Americans question Biden’s mental and physical fitness.
He recently needed a cue card before a press event that said, “YOU take YOUR seat.”
He previously had cue cards that read, “Tough Putin Q&A talking points.”
Biden recently fell off a stationary bike, and he once tripped several times climbing the stairs of Air Force One.
Breitbart added that “the poll also asked, ‘Suppose that President Biden stepped down and Kamala Harris became president. Would that be better or worse for the United States?’ Forty-seven percent believe the nation would be worse off with Harris as president, while only 27 percent believe the nation would be better off with Harris. Twenty-six percent were unsure.”
The entire Biden administration has been characterized by failure and frustration felt by the American people.
The Democrats thought that Orange Man Bad was a strong enough political strategy, but it terms out that governing is not so easy.
Biden must be particularly frustrated by this poll because it lends credence to the idea that he is not in control of his own administration.
NBC News reported that “Biden is unhappy about a pattern that has developed inside the West Wing. He makes a clear and succinct statement — only to have aides rush to explain that he actually meant something else. The so-called clean-up campaign, he has told advisers, undermines him and smothers the authenticity that fueled his rise. Worse, it feeds a Republican talking point that he’s not fully in command.”
The chaos within the Biden administration is reflected in the polls.
The American people do not trust Biden right now, and they don’t trust Harris, either.
