Joe Biden was left speechless when one Democrat’s vote killed a radical pro-abortion bill

Democrats thought they had it in the bag.

And Chuck Schumer tried to ram the radical pro-abortion bill through the Senate before any other action.

But Joe Biden was left speechless when one Democrat’s vote killed a radical pro-abortion bill.

It is a rare thing indeed when every single Republican Senator agrees on something.

You can almost always count on Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and a few others to sell out on just about any issue on any given day.

But sometimes a bill is so radical, so evil, that even the GOP RINOs can’t stomach it.

And sometimes a bill is so disgusting that a Democrat or two shows he has a soul as well.

That’s exactly what happened recently when the Senate voted on H.R. 3755.

The grossly misnamed “Women’s Health Protection Act,” was introduced to attempt to codify Roe vs. Wade into federal law in case the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe later this year.

In other words, legislation was introduced in congress to codify into federal law the killing of a class of human being.

This was simply too much for every single GOP Senator and one Democrat Senator, Joe Manchin of West Virginia.

The Senate voted 46-48 on whether to bring the bill up for debate, with six senators not voting (the 3 Republicans not voting all opposed the bill, and the 3 Democrats not voting all supported it).

The bill, which passed the House on a 218-211 vote, would have stipulated that, “a health care provider has a statutory right under this Act to provide abortion services, and may provide abortion services, and that provider’s patient has a corresponding right to receive such services, without limitations or requirements.”

The bill would have overridden any, “prohibition on abortion at any point or points in time prior to fetal viability, including a prohibition or restriction on a particular abortion procedure.”

It would also have invalidated any and all state laws prohibiting, “abortion after fetal viability when, in the good-faith medical judgment of the treating health care provider, continuation of the pregnancy would pose a risk to the pregnant patient’s life or health.”

Language in the bill also falsely claimed that abortion rights qualify as “reproductive justice” and that the legislation was seeking to address, “systems of oppression, lack of bodily autonomy, white supremacy, and anti-Black racism.”

The legislation went on to claim that abortion restrictions “are a tool of gender oppression,” it also clarifies that despite using “the terms ‘woman’ and ‘women,’” legislators intend to “protect all people with the capacity for pregnancy—cisgender women, transgender men, non-binary individuals, those who identify with a different gender, and others—who are unjustly harmed by restrictions on abortion services.”

Clearly, the legislation went just a few steps too far for even the most hardened sell-outs in the GOP, and for moderate Democrat Manchin.
