Enthusiasm among Democrat voters is lagging after his Presidency has become a complete failure.
To excite the party’s far-left base, Biden issued an executive order pardoning anyone convicted of simple federal marijuana charges.
Biden threw a bone to the radical Left who’ve been pressuring him to take action on legalizing marijuana and to push more pro-crime policies championed by his radical base.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was furious after Biden tried to placate her with the pardon for simple federal marijuana charges.
She ripped Biden on social media for a shocking reason.
“Contrary to rhetoric, Biden is not actually pardoning ALL federal simple marijuana possession convictions, only some,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on social media. “His executive order discriminates based on immigration status, which is frankly upsetting and inexcusable.”
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez wants illegals to get in on Biden’s latest giveaway to criminals.
“If the assertion here is that these laws should have never existed and were racist in their enforcement and impact, then the pardons should be for all impacted by them,” Ocasio-Cortez continued. “It’s upsetting to see the racial impact of the War on Drugs recognized while perpetuating that impact by excluding immigrants from pardoning, who could significantly stand to benefit from it.”
Joe Biden tried to hand Ocasio-Cortez a victory but instead she went on a woke tirade.
Jon Feere at the Center for Immigration Studies said that fulfilling Ocasio-Cortez’s insane demand would “undoubtedly benefit illegal alien drug traffickers.”
According to Feere, the U.S. Sentencing Commission found that between 2008 and 2013 the increase in federal charges for simple drug possession “is almost entirely attributable to a single drug type — marijuana — and to offenders who were arrested at or near the U.S./Mexico border.”
Mexican drug cartels are raking in money smuggling marijuana across the southern border.
Feere said that the study was important in case the Biden regime backs down to Ocasio-Cortez’s demand and expands the pardon to illegals.
Left-wing activist groups are already pressuring Biden to expand the pardon to illegals using it as a backdoor method of opening the border.
The Immigrant Defense Project, an open borders group with connections to George Soros, is asking Biden to stop deporting illegals for marijuana charges.
“If POTUS thinks no one should be in jail for marijuana possession, then no one should be deported for it either,” the group posted on social media.
The radical Left will never be satisfied until their insane open borders agenda is complete.
