An armed madman killed eight Americans over the weekend at a mall in Texas.
Joe Biden jumped at the opportunity to push his anti-gun agenda.
Joe Biden responded to the tragic shooting in Texas with seven words that caused all hell to break loose.
On Saturday, 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia opened fire at a mall in Allen, Texas, killing eight people and injuring several others.
A police officer who was at the mall on an unrelated call stopped the attack by shooting and killing Garcia.
As usual, Democrats immediately responded with calls for massive new gun control laws.
Joe Biden released an entire statement after the attack demanding Congress send a so-called “assault weapons” ban to his desk for him to sign into law.
“Eight Americans — including children — were killed yesterday in the latest act of gun violence to devastate our nation,” Biden’s press release began. “Jill and I are praying for their families and for others critically injured, and we are grateful to the first responders who acted quickly and courageously to save lives.”
Biden once again repeated the lie that “the leading cause of death for American kids is gun violence.”
He bragged about some of the gun-control laws he already signed with the help of RINOs in the Senate.
“Since I signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act into law and took two dozen executive actions to stem the tide of gun violence, we have made some progress,” Biden wrote. “States are banning assault weapons, expanding red flag laws and more — but it’s not enough,” he continued, before adding that “we need more action, faster to save lives.”
“Too many families have empty chairs at their dinner tables,” Biden continued.
But then Biden mocked GOP lawmakers who are praying for the family members and demanded they do more.
“Republican Members of Congress cannot continue to meet this epidemic with a shrug,” Biden wrote. “Tweeted thoughts and prayers are not enough.”
He concluded by demanding Congress “send me a bill banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, enacting universal background checks, requiring safe storage, and ending immunity for gun manufacturers.”
“I will sign it immediately,” he wrote, adding that “we need nothing less to keep our streets safe.”
Joe Biden and the Democrats are waging war on the right to keep and bear arms.
They exploit every shooting as an excuse to usher in gun control, even though virtually every shooting occurs in places with strict gun laws in place.
But Biden and the Democrats will not stop until firearms are banned in America.
