Joe Biden officially launched his 2024 reelection bid on Tuesday.
Democrats Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Marianne Williamson are running against Biden for the Party’s nomination.
That’s why Joe Biden let out a sigh of relief when he heard Bernie Sanders say these two words about his 2024 campaign.
Joe Biden is massively unpopular with a broad swath of voters and polls previously showed the majority of Democrats did not want him to seek reelection.
Biden will be 82 years old in 2024 and is already suffering from severely declining mental faculties and physical abilities.
This is why many took Biden’s delayed announcement as a sign that he was planning to step aside and pass the torch to another candidate in 2024.
Of course, without Biden, Democrats would be stuck with Kamala Harris as the Party’s nominee.
But Biden ended all doubts on Tuesday when he officially launched his 2024 reelection campaign.
However, Democrat voters did not react to the news with excitement, as many already believe Biden is mentally unfit to serve as President.
A new poll by Emerson College Polling Survey shows that 35 percent of Democrats who plan to vote in the Primary still want “someone else” as the nominee.
Biden is already facing a Primary challenge from Marianne Williamson and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Williamson and Kennedy Jr. do not pose much of a threat to Joe Biden in the Democrat Primary.
But socialist Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders was the runner-up for the Democrat Party nomination for President in both 2016 and 2020.
Sanders is one Democrat who could threaten Joe Biden’s chances and at minimum damage him for the General Election.
Bernie Sanders just announced his plans for 2024.
According to Sanders, he’s “all in” for Joe Biden.
“I’m in to do what I can to make sure that the President is reelected,” Sanders said. “The last thing this country needs is a Donald Trump or some other right-wing demagogue who is going to try to undermine American democracy or take away a woman’s right to choose, or not address the crisis of gun violence, or racism, sexism or homophobia,” he continued, before adding “so, I’m in to do what I can to make sure that the President is reelected.”
Democrat insiders schemed and plotted against Bernie Sanders in 2016 and in 2020 to keep him from winning the nomination.
2024 would be a chance for Bernie Sanders to get revenge on Democrat Party elites who schemed against him in the past.
But Sanders is scared of a fight and is “all in” for Joe Biden.
