And now Joe Biden just found one sick way for the IRS to target Trump supporters’ bank accounts.
Democrats tucked $80 billion in funding to hire 87,000 new IRS agents through the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act.”
The so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” has nothing to do with reducing inflation and instead is a vehicle to morph America into a socialist nation by imposing the Green New Deal.
But this bill also helps Joe Biden further weaponize the government against his political opponents.
The IRS website listed job openings for 350 new armed IRS agents to assist in criminal investigations.
The New York Post reports:
A job posting on the agency’s website for a “criminal investigator” position is looking for would-be agents to investigate “potential criminal violations” of the tax code in a manner “that fosters confidence in the tax system and compliance with the law.”
Under the “major duties” section of the listing, the IRS noted that applicants must be willing to “carry a firearm; must be prepared to protect him/herself or others from physical attacks at any time and without warning and use firearms in life-threatening situations; must be willing to use force up to and including the use of deadly force.”
Applicants also must be willing to carry out their duties for “a minimum of 50 hours per week, which may include irregular hours” and be on call to bring the heat “24/7, including holidays and weekends.”
The Biden administration raised alarm bells that it is a politically-motivated task force by looking to hire the highest concentration of agents in Texas – the largest Republican-run state in America.
Under Barack Obama and continuing under Joe Biden the Democrat Party already turned the FBI into a domestic political police force aimed at the Left’s political opponents.
Last year, the FBI carried out a nationwide dragnet arresting Pro-Life preachers who prayed in front of abortion clinics while largely ignoring the more than 100 domestic terrorist attacks carried out by violent abortion supporters against Pro-Life crisis pregnancy centers and churches.
And this year the FBI got caught red-handed sending in at least one undercover operative to spy on the Catholic Church after the Richmond Field Office circulated a memo declaring orthodox Catholics domestic extremists.
There is nothing that threatens democracy more than if the federal police force and tax collectors act on behalf of one political party.
And for all Joe Biden’s talk about defending norms and protecting the American experiment in self-government, no one is doing more to turn America into an authoritarian state than Joe Biden and his weaponization of the federal government.
