Biden family to meet in wake of debate disaster
Joe and Jill Biden sounded a defiant tone in the wake of Joe Biden pulling back the curtain at the debate with Donald Trump and revealing his cognitive decline was even worse than anyone could have imagined.
A CBS/YouGov poll taken after the debate found just 27 percent of voters thought Biden had the mental acuity to be President.
72 percent did not.
Horse race polling was also dismal.
The most accurate pollster of the 2020 election found Biden down six points to Donald Trump.

Against this backdrop of a rapidly deteriorating political situation, Joe Biden met with his wife Jill, and other family members at the family’s home in Delaware.
“President Joe Biden is expected to discuss the future of his re-election campaign with family at Camp David on Sunday, following a nationally televised debate Thursday that left many fellow Democrats worried about his ability to beat former President Donald Trump in November, according to five people familiar with the matter,” NBC News reports.
Jill Biden as the decider
Democrats can dream up a scenario where Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Bill Clinton, and Chuck Schumer all tell Joe Biden it’s time to get out of the race.
But Joe Biden isn’t likely to listen to any of them.
None thought he could win in 2020, and likely none of them even wanted him to run in the first place.
Media outlets continue to report that First Lady Jill Biden is really the only one who can convince Joe Biden to stand down.
“The only person who has ultimate influence with him is the first lady,” a source close to the Biden’s told NBC News.
“If she decides there should be a change of course, there will be a change of course,” the source added.
If Jill Biden is the only one who can get Joe Biden out of the race, then the media is trying to make it so she wants to spare her husband the humiliation of what’s to come.
Leaks in the media describe Joe Biden in the most unflattering terms possible.
NBC reported that “Biden was described by one person familiar with his mood as humiliated, devoid of confidence and painfully aware that the physical images of him at the debate — eyes staring into the distance, mouth agape — will live beyond his presidency, along with a performance that at times was meandering, incoherent and difficult to hear.”
After three years of pretending Joe Biden was the Joe Biden of 2012, the media is trying to act like they are just realizing Joe Biden’s no longer in his right mind.
And the only reason the press dropped the charade is because after the debate, there isn’t a soul in the media who thinks Joe Biden can win the election.
