Joe Biden is trying to destroy the conservative majority on the Supreme Court.
Now, he has his sights set on the most conservative Justice.
And Biden got ripped piece to piece after picking this nasty fight with Clarence Thomas.
Clarence Thomas and the Supreme Court under attack
Democrats and their media allies have been running a coordinated campaign to smear Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
ProPublica – a left-wing media outlet funded by Democrat megadonors – ran a hit job on Thomas last year, accusing him of corruption because he took some vacations that were paid for by a longtime family friend, wealthy conservative donor Harlan Crow.
This isn’t an ethics violation and Democrat-appointed Justices, do the same thing.
But the Left was interested in manufacturing a fake scandal to try to delegitimize the high court.
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) introduced articles of impeachment against Thomas and Justice Samuel Alito, falsely accusing them of gross ethics violations.
“The unchecked corruption crisis on the Supreme Court has now spiraled into a Constitutional crisis threatening American democracy writ large,” Ocasio-Cortez ranted.
President Joe Biden followed this up with an op-ed in The Washington Post calling for term limits for Supreme Court Justices and a “binding code of conduct” for them.
“Justices should be required to disclose gifts, refrain from public political activity, and recuse themselves from cases in which they or their spouses have financial or other conflicts of interest,” Biden declared.
Democrats are trying to destroy the legitimacy of the Supreme Court to pave the way for packing with new Democrat-appointed Justices if they maintain control of the White House and Senate next year.
Trump Judge advisor fires back at Biden
Federalist Society Co-Chairman Leonard Leo helped guide former President Donald Trump on his judicial appointments.
He put out a statement ripping Biden for trying to destroy the Supreme Court.
“No conservative justice has made any decision in any big case that surprised anyone, so let’s stop pretending this is about undue influence,” Leo wrote. “It’s about Democrats destroying a court they don’t agree with.”
Leo said if Democrats were serious about ethics reform, they would look at Congress.
“If President Biden and the Democrats were truly serious about ethics reform, then they would ban all gifts and hospitality of any kind to any public official in any branch of government, starting with Congress, where the real corruption is,” Leo continued. “They would close all of the loopholes that allow Members to travel on private jets to fancy hotels and restaurants.”
Leo explained the real undue influence on the high court happens in left-wing legal circles.
“With respect to Judges, they would include the things where influence peddling is most present and dangerous -and that’s when the liberal Justices rub shoulders with influencers at places like law schools, bar associations, progressive think tanks and their conferences, and other groups and events funded by Left-wing billionaires, where they support real vested interests in the work of the Court,” Leo stated.
Democrats have left no doubt that they are coming for the Supreme Court at the first opportunity they get.
