Joe Biden’s re-election campaign is not off to a strong start.

But now the wheels are coming off.

And that became clear when Joe Biden began to speak and what happened next took everyone by surprise.

Joe Biden wants the 2024 election to be all about abortion.

If the race is focused on abortion it means Biden doesn’t have to talk about his socialist spending letting the inflation genie out of the bottle, his orders to open the southern border, or his push for World War III in Ukraine.

Polls also show that the Democrat Party is deeply divided over Biden’s obvious senility and ability to win a second term.

But Biden also knows abortion-on-demand is one issue – the other being opposition to Donald Trump – that unites his party.

Biden sought to start his re-election campaign on friendly turf in the blue state of Virginia with a “rally the troops” type of speech about how committed he is to unrestricted taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand up until birth.

However, Biden also ran face first into the reality that support for Hamas is a major wedge issue in his coalition.

A Gallup poll found 49 percent of Democrats say their sympathies are with the Palestinians and 39 percent say it’s with the Israelis.

After the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack, the Democrat Party base pushed Biden to cut off Israel and adopt the Hamas position of demanding a ceasefire in Israeli operations to wipe out Hamas.

During his speech, hecklers interrupted Biden 14 times with shouts of “How many kids have you killed?” “Stop funding genocide,” and “Genocide Joe has got to go.”

Biden supporters tried to drown them out by shouting “Four more years” and “Let’s go Joe.”

Even Biden understood how a large section of his base was against him.

“I’m sorry this is taking so long,” Biden told the crowd.

“This is going to go on for a while. They’ve got this planned,” Biden said after one of the interruptions.

Polls show Biden losing support with young voters.

That’s the group most pro-Hamas.

But the irony of the whole situation is the people shouting “Genocide Joe” at Biden for supporting Israel’s military operation had no problem being at an event to celebrate the policies that led to more than 60,000,000 babies dying in abortion clinics post Roe v. Wade.
