But Jim Jordan went on Fox Business and dropped a truth bomb on Democrats about Joe Biden’s socialist agenda.
Democrats are defending a razor-thin majority in both the U.S. House and Senate in the 2022 midterm elections.
Republicans only need to take back one seat in the Senate to replace Chuck Schumer as Majority Leader and five seats in the U.S. House to replace Nancy Pelosi as Speaker.
The President’s approval rating has historically served as a good indicator of how well the Party in power will do in the midterm elections.
Right now, Joe Biden’s approval ratings are tanking.
Joe Biden’s dismal approval ratings combined with the major Republican victories last week in Virginia – where Republicans took back the Governor’s Mansion for the first time since 2009 – are a sure sign that Democrats are facing an uphill battle in 2022.
Of course, most political experts agree that a backlash against the Left’s radical agenda is what led to the Republican victories in Virginia.
But Democrats believe they haven’t been radical enough.
And just three days after taking a shellacking in Virginia, Democrats passed Joe Biden’s $1.2 trillion socialist “infrastructure” package through Congress and sent it to Biden’s desk for his signature.
During a recent interview with Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” Republican Congressman Jim Jordan blasted Joe Biden’s $1.2 trillion “infrastructure” bill, warning that Democrats were only creating “more harm for the country.”
“I mean, Maria, think about the Democrats’ economic plan,” Jordan said. “It’s basically, lock down your economy, spend like crazy, pay people not the work, and then for everyone who has been working. They’re getting ready to raise your taxes and pay $450,000 to people who illegally crossed our border and entered our country,” Jordan added.
Jordan then predicted that passing Joe Biden’s $1.2 trillion “infrastructure” bill would only cause Democrats to fall even further in the polls.
“One thing about Democrats is they just keep going no matter what the voters say,” Jordan said, referring to Democrats not learning a lesson from Virginia.
“They just keep doing their crazy radical agenda, and it’s why Joe Biden is at 38% approval rating because everything they’ve touched has been a mess,” he added.
Jordan then listed off a long string of Democrat failures, from the border crisis to skyrocketing inflation and rising crime in urban areas.
“We went from a secure border to chaos. We went from energy independence to the president begging OPEC to increase production. We went from safe streets to crime going up in every major urban area. We went from stable pricing to record inflation, so it’s all a mess,” Jordan exclaimed.
“But they don’t care because they are the hard Left, and they just keep going in the direction they are,” he concluded.
