Jennifer Aniston is one of the biggest actresses in Hollywood.
She’s used to dealing with the gossip pages.
And Jennifer Aniston broke her silence over this sick rumor about Barack Obama.
Rumors swirl about Jennifer Aniston’s latest love interest
Actress Jennifer Aniston is best known for starring as Rachel Green on the NBC sitcom Friends for a decade.
She’s used to dealing with gossip about her love life as one of the highest-paid actresses in the world.
Aniston was previously married to actors Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux.
The 55-year-old actress was linked to former President Barack Obama in the August issue of In Touch Weekly.
Aniston and Obama were alleged to be “obsessed with each other” which left former First Lady Michelle Obama feeling “betrayed.”
Barack and Michelle Obama have been married since 1992 and recently celebrated their 32nd marriage anniversary.
Aniston appeared on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! where the late-night talk show host confronted her about the Obama romance rumors.
Kimmel pulled out a copy of In Touch Weekly with the headline “The Truth About Jen & Barack.”
“Michelle betrayed as Aniston steals her husband’s attention,” a caption below the headline read.
“That’s kind of – that was – of all the calls you get from your publicist where you’re just like, ‘Oh no, what’s it gonna be?’ or the email saying, you know, ‘Some cheesy tabloid is gonna make up a story,’” Aniston said. “And then it’s that. I was not mad at it.”
Kimmel had to ask the question that was on everyone’s mind.
“Is there any truth to this?” Kimmel asked.
“No, that is absolutely untrue,” Aniston replied.
Aniston claimed that she had only met the former President once and knew Michelle Obama more than him.
“Is there a truth about you and Michelle, that we should know?” Kimmel asked.
“It’s, it’s – that is not true,” Aniston replied.
Jimmy Kimmel asks Aniston about another rumor
Aniston confirmed a rumor about belly dancing that Kimmel asked her about.
“Anytime, not just Christmas Eve!” Aniston exclaimed. “You know the Greeks love any kind of a family dinner . . . It’s like when you say to your child, ‘Play piano for everyone’ or ‘Let’s sing for everyone.’ I get such anxiety when my friends do that to their children . . . I have inner trauma from having to perform and belly dance in front of my great aunts and uncles and grandmothers.”
Aniston told CBS Sunday Morning in 2015 that her time in Hollywood taught her how to ignore rumors and the tabloids.
“Just don’t pay attention. I think I used to,” Aniston said at the time. “There was a period where I was hell-bent on saying, ‘That’s not true, that’s not right, that’s not fair.’ And now I just think you have to let it roll off your back and you realize, I think everyone knows it’s all B.S. and, like, soap opera on paper.”
Getting linked to Barack Obama is just part and parcel of being a Hollywood celebrity for Jennifer Aniston.
