Jeff Bezos ripped Biden to shreds for this insane comment about the economy

Joe Biden somehow continues to sink to new lows as commander-in-chief.

More prominent people are beginning to speak out against him.

Now Jeff Bezos ripped Biden to shreds for this insane comment about the economy.

Joe Biden’s poll numbers have sagged into the 30s.

Despite a favorable media apparatus, Biden’s approval rating is lower than Donald Trump’s at the same time in their presidencies.

One of the reasons for Biden’s widespread unpopularity is handling of the economy.

Biden has overseen the worst inflationary crisis in 40 years.

And Biden has blamed everyone and everything but his own foolish policies and rhetoric.

Biden wrote on Twitter, “My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: this is a time of war and global peril. Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you’re paying for the product. And do it now.”

So Biden has blamed Vladimir Putin, oil companies, and now gas stations for his failures.

Even Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, a Democrat megadonor, called out Biden’s embarrassing economic analysis.

Bezos responded, “Ouch. Inflation is far too important a problem for the White House to keep making statements like this. It’s either straight ahead misdirection or a deep misunderstanding of basic market dynamics.”

It’s bad when the owner of The Washington Post is blasting Biden.

As Bezos pointed out, the statement from Biden is ignorant and unbecoming of the president.

Gas stations, which don’t operate with huge margins, are not responsible for high prices at the pump.

To suggest so illustrates economic illiteracy.

The price at the pump is dictated by supply and demand.

The way to alleviate the problem is to produce more oil, but Biden and the international Left do not want to defy the radical environmentalists in their base.

So the Left are reluctant to remove roadblocks for oil and natural gas companies to ramp up production, and they’re using rhetoric that kills investment, such talk of eliminating fossil fuels.

These actions have consequences, but Biden and the Democrats do not want to realize them.

One Twitter user had the perfect response to Biden’s inane plea, writing, “Thank you for this tweet mr president. My local gas stations all dropped their prices $2 instantly because they had your tweet notifications on.”

The Democrats’ theories are losing the battle on the principles of economics.
