Jeanine Pirro Busted a Drug Ring Selling Crack Cocaine 300 Feet From an Elementary School

Drug dealers were selling crack cocaine to kids walking to school in broad daylight.

Now Jeanine Pirro just revealed what her team did about it this summer.

The numbers are so big that Democrats who ran Washington, DC for decades should never be allowed to forget them.

533 Guns. 60 Indictments. One Summer.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's "Summer Crackdown" just delivered results that her predecessor – the one who let 60% of crimes go unprosecuted under Biden – couldn't have dreamed of.

Federal law enforcement seized 533 illegal firearms off DC streets between June and September.

That's more than five guns per day, every day, all summer long.

On the drug side, agents seized 64 kilograms of methamphetamine, 46 kilograms of cocaine, and 3 kilograms of fentanyl – the poison that's been killing Americans in record numbers.

More than 60 defendants were federally indicted, including 28 known gang members whose names were already on law enforcement's radar.

These weren't random sweeps.

Pirro's office ran coordinated, neighborhood-focused operations that targeted the specific people driving violence in specific DC communities.

The Case That Should Make Every Parent Furious

One operation stands out from everything else announced this week.

Fourteen defendants were indicted for running a crack cocaine distribution ring within 1,000 feet of Hendley Elementary School in Southeast Washington.

Investigators documented drug sales happening in front of school-age children walking to and from class.

For years, no one did anything about it.

"These traffickers showed zero regard for the wellbeing of our community, even selling crack cocaine about 300 feet from an elementary school," Pirro said. "This office will continue to pursue serious sentences for defendants who treat their neighbors as exploitable prey."

Twenty-eight firearms were seized from that single operation.

Kilogram quantities of cocaine and fentanyl came with them.

A second major takedown dismantled an 11-defendant methamphetamine and GBL – a date rape drug precursor – trafficking conspiracy with direct ties to South Korea.

A third case targeted a drug operation running MDMA within 1,000 feet of Catholic University, where agents seized $250,000 in cash, $200,000 in jewelry, 74 pounds of psychedelic mushrooms, and 18 pounds of marijuana from one operator.

DC Murder Rates Just Hit Their Lowest Level Since 1900

The Summer Crackdown doesn't exist in isolation.

Pirro's office operates within Trump's Make DC Safe and Beautiful Task Force – launched in August 2025 after a congressional intern was gunned down as an innocent bystander in Northwest Washington.

That task force has now made more than 16,000 arrests in its first year, including 35 homicide suspects and more than 100 known gang members.

The International Homeland Security Task Force component of the Summer Crackdown alone produced indictments against 19 defendants – including three Mexican nationals – along with 26 arrests, 15 convictions, and the seizure of more than 2,300 kilograms of cocaine.

The overall results since Trump took back control of DC: homicides down 60%, carjackings down 68%, robberies down 49%.

DC murder rates are now on track to hit their lowest levels since 1900.

Since 1900.

For comparison, Pirro's office now prosecutes more than 90% of cases brought to it.

Biden's DC prosecutors let 70% walk.

Eleven defendants were convicted in federal jury trials this summer alone – including four members of a murder conspiracy facing mandatory minimum sentences of 40 years, and three defendants in a felony-robbery murder case carrying a mandatory minimum of 30 years.

These are convictions at trial, with decades of guaranteed prison time attached to each one.

That's what law and order looks like when the people running it actually believe in it.

The criminals who turned DC into a warzone for decades had one advantage over law-abiding residents: they knew the prosecutors weren't coming.

Jeanine Pirro fixed that. And she's just getting started.
