Ilhan Omar has denied for 15 years that she married her own brother to commit immigration fraud.
Now Tom Homan and DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin both say there is an active criminal investigation – and evidence she did exactly that.
But James Comer just told the Trump administration to release it all and let Congress decide whether to remove her.
What Mullin and Homan Actually Said
This is not a rumor.
This is the Secretary of Homeland Security and the White House border czar both stating, on the record, that federal investigators are actively examining whether Ilhan Omar committed marriage fraud and immigration fraud to enter – and stay in – the United States.
Mullin was direct: "We know that she married her brother to try to bring him to the United States."
He added that investigators are looking beyond the marriage itself, examining whether the entire family's immigration to America involved illegal activity.

Homan confirmed the investigation Sunday, saying Homeland Security Investigations is pulling files and records.
"If someone committed an immigration violation, if someone committed marriage fraud or anything like that, regardless if they're a congressman or not, no one's above the law," Homan said.
The key legal point Mullin stressed: lying on an immigration application carries no statute of limitations.
There is no clock that runs out.
If investigators can prove it, they can deport her – sitting congresswoman or not.
Comer Puts Congress on Notice
Rep. James Comer did not mince words Monday night on Just the News, No Noise.
"I think they should make it public. Absolutely, make it public," he said, referring to whatever evidence Mullin and Homan are holding.
Comer's position is straightforward: if you lied your way to citizenship, you have no business sitting in Congress.
"I think so," he said when asked whether that should disqualify a member. "But put it up for a vote in Congress and let the American people see how their member of Congress would vote on that."

Marriage fraud is a federal felony – up to five years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and deportation.
Sen. Ted Cruz put a finer point on it: if the allegations are true, Omar faces criminal liability under three separate federal statutes.
Comer is running the same play on Omar that he's running on Jeffrey Epstein associate Leon Black – force the evidence into public view and make everyone go on record.
15 Years of Denials and Zero Documents
Omar became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2000.
The allegations about her 2009 marriage to British citizen Ahmed Nur Said Elmi – and claims that Elmi is actually her biological brother – have followed her since before she was first elected to Congress in 2018.
Her answer has never changed: she denies it, calls the claims lies, and refuses to release documents that would settle the question.
For eight years, the media called that "denial."
In any other context, refusing to produce records that would exonerate you is called something else entirely.
Now Homeland Security has those records – or is actively pulling them – and the denial strategy may have just expired.
Comer said Monday that most of the evidence he has personally seen is already public, which means whatever Mullin and Homan have goes further still.
"The evidence that I've seen would show that they would be privy to a lot more evidence than I would have," he said.
Leon Black Gets the Same Treatment
The House Oversight Committee held a markup vote to recommend that billionaire Leon Black be held in contempt of Congress for defying two lawful subpoenas related to his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

Black paid Epstein at least $158 million after Epstein became a registered sex offender.
When subpoenaed for documents and testimony, Black walked out, hired attorneys, and sued the committee.
"It doesn't matter how wealthy, powerful, or connected you are," Comer said. "No one gets to pick and choose which lawful congressional subpoenas they will obey."
The contempt vote has bipartisan backing – ranking Democrat Robert Garcia is supporting it.
When both parties want you to answer questions about Jeffrey Epstein, you don't get to hide behind litigation and run out the clock.
Comer understands something most politicians don't: transparency is a weapon.
Force the evidence out, force the vote, and let the public watch who runs from both.
The Vote Democrats Cannot Win
Democrats spent four years telling you that no one is above the law.
They said it about Trump, about his associates, about anyone within a news cycle of the former president.
Now their colleague is facing a federal criminal investigation, the Secretary of Homeland Security and the White House border czar are both saying evidence of fraud exists, and Democrats are silent.

If Mullin releases that evidence – and Comer is demanding he do exactly that – every Democrat in the House will have to vote publicly on whether a congresswoman who fraudulently obtained citizenship should keep her seat.
They vote yes on expulsion and they hand Republicans one of the biggest enforcement victories of the second term.
They vote no and their constituents find out their representative thinks immigration laws don't apply to sitting congresswomen.
That's exactly why Comer said release the evidence and let Congress vote.
