Jack Smith is Joe Biden’s handpicked prosecutor tasked with putting Donald Trump in jail before Election Day.

But Smith’s caught between a rock and a hard place.

And Jack Smith made this courtroom confession that will change everything for Donald Trump.

Donald Trump asked the Supreme Court to stay proceedings in Jack Smith’s show trial in Washington, D.C. for charges of trying to contest the results of the 2020 election.

Trump asked the court to pause the trial so he can appeal a D.C. Circuit ruling rejecting his bid for Presidential immunity from prosecution.

Smith responded by warning that the court granting Trump a stay would frustrate a “public interest in a speedy and fair verdict” – Smith isn’t even pretending the trial is a fair proceeding as he knows the all Democrat jury in Washington, D.C. will turn in a rigged guilty verdict.

“Delay in the resolution of these charges threatens to frustrate the public interest in a speedy and fair verdict — a compelling interest in every criminal case and one that has unique national importance here, as it involves federal criminal charges against a former President for alleged criminal efforts to overturn the results of the Presidential election, including through the use of official power,” Smith’s filing reads.

Smith continues to hint at this so-called “public interest” without ever actually spelling out why trying Trump so quickly is of national importance.

“The public interest in a prompt trial is at its zenith where, as here, a former President is charged with conspiring to subvert the electoral process so that he could remain in office,” Smith added. “The Nation has a compelling interest in seeing the charges brought to trial.”

If the court grants a stay, Smith asked for an expedited schedule to allow the court to hear oral argument in March – the normal schedule would be for April – and a ruling as quickly as possible.

“An expedited schedule would permit the Court to issue its opinion and judgment resolving the threshold immunity issue as promptly as possible this Term, so that, if the Court rejects applicant’s immunity claim, a timely and fair trial can begin with minimal additional delay,” Smith continued. “The government proposes a schedule that would permit argument in March 2024, consistent with the Court’s expedition of other cases meriting such treatment.”

The “public interest” Smith continually writes about is Joe Biden’s political interest in a conviction before Election Day.

Smith is the prosecutor meaning he has a vested interest in the outcome.

Smith didn’t just bring this case to let the chips fall where they may, so voters can have the issue of Trump’s supposed criminality put to rest before the election.

Smith brought this case because he thinks Trump is guilty and he wants a trial before Election Day because he thinks that will stop Trump from winning the White House.
