J.D. Vance is going on the warpath against the Harris-Walz ticket.

He’s going into enemy territory to make the case against them.

And J.D. Vance left a journalist squirming over this brutal fact about Kamala Harris.

J.D. Vance gives a journalist a reality check about Kamala Harris’ border blunders

U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) has settled into the traditional role of having the running mate serve as the campaign’s attack dog.

Vice President Kamala Harris has been avoiding interviews and press conferences since she entered the race.

That’s why Vance hit three major Sunday shows on CNN, ABC, and CBS to slam her for avoiding the press since President Joe Biden dropped out on July 21.

He sparred with ABC News host Jonathan Karl about Kamala’s role as the “Border Czar.”

Karl asked him about former President Donald Trump’s plan for the mass deportation of illegal aliens.

“Well, Jon, we have to start with the fact that we have a wide open southern border because our ‘Border Czar’ actually set a lot of open border policies,” Vance said.

“You know she’s not actually, she wasn’t the ‘Border Czar,’” Karl fired back.

Vance noted that the media gave her the title of “Border Czar” when she was appointed as President Joe Biden’s point person on the border in March 2021.

“I know but, but,” Karl sputtered.

The media is trying to rewrite history to falsely claim that the “Border Czar” title was an invention of Republicans.

“Oh, that was what the media called her, she assumed the title,” Vance said. “She had control over a lot of our border policy at a time when they were suspending deportations.”

Karl interrupted to parrot the Democrat talking point that Kamala’s only job with the border was a diplomatic role with Central American countries.

“Well, it was the root causes of the migration from the–” Karl stammered.

“Let me finish Jon,” Vance interjected. “At the time they were suspending deportations, they stopped Donald Trump’s Remain in Mexico policy, and they reinstituted catch and release. They basically threw open the gates of our country. And now we have a ton of fentanyl, a ton of people suffering.”

Karl knew this was a losing topic for Kamala, so he tried to shift the conversation back to the feasibility of deporting millions of illegal aliens.

“The first thing you have to do is to stop the bleeding, stop the open border, get Kamala Harris out of there and actually re-implement the remain in Mexico policy, rebuild or finish Donald Trump’s border wall and you do that and you stop the bleeding,” Vance said. “No, you’re right, once you do that, and you stop Kamala Harris’ open border policies, you have to do something with the people who are already here, and I think you take a sequential approach to it. You’re going to have to deport some people.”

The Kamala campaign is trying to run a basement strategy of having her avoid answering questions on her record and letting the media run for cover for her.

Vance was able to go on the Sunday news shows and go on the offensive against her record.

The Trump campaign is going to have to aggressively make the case that Kamala Harris is a failure everywhere they can to win the election.
