Iran aired a video in January showing Trump's bloodied face from the Butler shooting with one caption: "This time it won't miss."
Now they've moved on to his wife and his son.
An IRGC-linked outlet just published a step-by-step assassination guide targeting Melania Trump – and closed it with a direct threat to 20-year-old Barron.
What the Video Actually Said
The Tasnim News Agency – the official mouthpiece of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury in 2023 – released an AI-generated video Monday titled "Where to Kill Melania?!"
It named specific Fifth Avenue stores Melania shops at, including Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue.
It mapped out her motorcade routes through Manhattan.
It identified her personal stylists by name – and suggested they could be bribed to poison her clothing.
The video recommended a specific nerve agent: VX, a colorless, odorless compound absorbed through skin contact that can kill within hours of exposure.
Then it ended with a message for Barron Trump, a 20-year-old college student.
"This is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us,” it said.
This Is the Same Network That Openly Called for Trump's Murder
Tasnim isn't some fringe chat account.
It was founded by an IRGC commander and is widely considered the Guards' official mouthpiece – the same military force the United States designated as a terrorist organization in 2019.
The U.S. Treasury sanctioned Tasnim in 2023 specifically for those ties.
Last week, billboards went up across Tehran showing Melania, Barron, and Ivanka Trump with their eyes closed and the word "KILLED" in red across the top.

The message below read: "Hey, Terrorist! Get ready to die."
In January 2026, Iranian state television broadcast a photo of Trump from the Butler assassination attempt – blood streaming down his face – with a caption in Farsi: "This time it won't miss the target."
This is a coordinated campaign run through state-affiliated media.
Iran Has Been Running These Plots for Years
The IRGC doesn't just make videos.
The Justice Department charged an Iranian agent in 2022 for plotting to murder former National Security Advisor John Bolton – offering $300,000 to carry it out in Washington, D.C.
The FBI arrested Farhad Shakeri in 2024 – an Afghan-born operative living in Tehran – for accepting money from the IRGC to surveil and kill Trump before the election.
An Iraqi citizen obtained a floor plan of Ivanka Trump's Florida home and posted messages warning her that "neither your palaces nor the Secret Service will protect you."
In March 2026, the Justice Department convicted another Iranian intelligence agent for a murder-for-hire plot targeting three U.S. government officials.
Nathan Sales, who served as State Department counterterrorism coordinator under Trump, said it plainly: "The Iranian regime remains a clear and present danger to President Trump – and to the countless other Americans it has targeted for assassination and kidnapping on American soil."
Trump Has Already Issued His Warning
Trump knows exactly who he's dealing with.
"I've been on their list for a long time. That's what we're dealing with," he told the New York Post this month.

Then he told them what happens next.
"I've left instructions – if anything happens, to just literally bomb them at levels that they've never seen before,” he added.
The day after the Melania video surfaced, Trump said 1,000 U.S. missiles were locked and loaded with thousands more ready to follow.
The Secret Service confirmed it is investigating the video.
"The Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees," spokesman Nate Herring told Newsweek.
Iran Published This in English for a Reason
Notice what the video wasn't.
It wasn't a Farsi broadcast for domestic consumption.
It wasn't internal IRGC communications that leaked.
It was produced with English subtitles, posted to a public Telegram channel, and distributed through a state-linked outlet specifically sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury.
Iran wanted Americans to read it.
They wanted Barron Trump to read it.
They wanted you to read it.
That's not a terror plot – that's psychological warfare aimed directly at the American public, designed to make the Trump family look vulnerable and make us feel like we can't protect them.
The IRGC spent years trying to kill American officials on American soil.

Now they've graduated to publishing assassination tutorials with Melania's stylists' names and a direct message to a college student – and distributing it in English so nobody misses the point.
They're not hiding it.
They're counting on us to absorb it, debate it, and do nothing – the same thing the West did every time Iran crossed a line for the last forty years.
Trump already told them what comes next if they touch his family.
One thousand missiles locked and loaded, with thousands more behind them.
Iran just told us exactly where they stand.
The only remaining question is whether we're paying attention.
