Joe Biden's autopen handed Anthony Fauci a blanket pardon covering ten years of crimes nobody named.
Investigators went looking at exactly how that pardon got signed, and what they found should worry Fauci.
That signature match is now the centerpiece of two senators' case against him.
The Signature That Doesn't Change
The Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project pulled every document bearing Biden's name from his final weeks in office.
Every signature traced back to Biden matched exactly, including the one on Fauci's pardon.
Sen. Mike Lee summed up the discovery in one line.
"On the plus side, we can say we lived under America's first robot president," Lee said.
The Constitution requires a president to be personally present to sign a pardon.

Investigators say there's no documented record Biden ever reviewed or personally approved the Fauci pardon at all.
Paul says that gap is exactly where Trump's DOJ should attack.
They're Already Picking Off His Lieutenants
Anthony Fauci has acted like Biden's pardon makes him bulletproof.
That immunity is starting to look like Swiss cheese.
Federal prosecutors indicted Fauci's longtime senior advisor David Morens in April.
He's accused of using a personal Gmail account to dodge federal records laws during the pandemic, allegedly coordinating with colleagues to revive a Wuhan-linked grant and counter the lab leak narrative.
House Oversight Chairman James Comer said the committee caught Morens "red-handed" after a colleague nicknamed the "FOIA lady" coached him on which records to hide from the public.
Two months later the FBI grabbed NIH virologist Vincent Munster at a Detroit airport.
Customs agents pulled 113 vials of monkeypox, chickenpox, and human DNA out of his luggage after a flight from the Republic of Congo.

Munster was traveling with a second NIH-connected researcher, Claude Kwe, when agents stopped them.
Munster spent years researching bat coronaviruses inside NIAID, the agency Fauci ran for nearly four decades.
Paul calls both men his best shot at finally putting Fauci in a courtroom.
The Pardon Was Built To Hide Something
Paul has chased Fauci for years over denials that NIH funded dangerous gain of function research in Wuhan.
Documents Paul's committee released show Fauci was emailing intelligence contacts at 3 a.m. in late January 2020, insisting the virus had nothing to do with the lab.
Within days, top virologists privately told Fauci the genome carried something called a furin cleavage site.
That sequence acts like a key built specifically to unlock human cells.
One of the scientists who later signed a paper dismissing the lab leak theory received an $8 million grant Fauci personally approved.
"It's a big circle, but it's all around Anthony Fauci," Paul told Just the News.
Paul Says The Pardon Itself Is The Weak Point
Paul argues the pardon is unusually broad, with no specific crime attached and a ten-year window covering more than he believes Biden ever actually reviewed.
Sen. Ron Johnson isn't hedging either, saying flatly that Fauci is a bad person who should be prosecuted for crimes he believes were committed.

Stack the autopen evidence on top of the Morens and Munster indictments, get one of them to flip, and let Trump's Justice Department finish what the pardon was designed to bury.
"My goodness, it would be worth it," Paul said, of seeing one of Fauci's own lieutenants finally testify against him.
Anthony Fauci built a career telling Americans to trust the science while burying the parts of the science that pointed back at him.
Biden's autopen pardon was never about protecting a sick old doctor from political payback – it was a blank check covering a decade of decisions Fauci made in the dark, signed by a machine while the man whose name is on it may not have known what he was signing.
That's no longer just a talking point.
It's a documented signature match, sitting next to two federal indictments, in the hands of a Senate Homeland Security chairman who's been after Fauci since his first shouting match with him on Capitol Hill.
Paul and Johnson aren't trying to win a popularity contest with the press corps that spent four years calling Fauci a hero.
They're betting that scared, indicted scientists will talk before Fauci's lawyers can shut this down again.
If they're right, the pardon that was supposed to end this story becomes the reason it finally goes to trial.
