Americans have been waiting for what feels like forever to see Hillary Clinton finally pay the price for decades of illegal activity.
While all the Clinton family has been involved in may never come to light, there is one thing that has been hanging over Hillary’s head for a while.
Now Hillary Clinton has a major legal problem on her hands and she might not be able to lie her way out of this one.
News broke recently that researcher Igor Danchenko was indicted for making false statements to the FBI about where he received the tips about the Trump campaign colluding with Russia.
People across the country began to breathe a sigh of relief that Special Counsel John Durham was actually moving forward with the case – Durham seemed to be taking an awfully long time to make any moves.
The source of Dancheko’s phony tips that were part of the now infamous Steele dossier came from a Clinton associate by the name of Charles Dolan Jr.
What’s of most interest to anyone following the sorted take of Christopher Steele’s sham of a dossier is the motion that Durham filed suggesting the Clinton campaign is still under suspicion for fabricating the Russian collusion story.
This means that there is a potential conflict of interest.
According to Durham’s motion, the lawyers representing Danchenko also represented members of the Clinton campaign who were called to testify or were being scrutinized by Durham.
Should Durham decide to call any of these Clinton campaign representatives it would result in a clear conflict of interest.
“In the event that one or more former representatives of the Clinton Campaign (who are represented by defense counsel’s firm) are called to testify at any trial or other court proceeding, the defendant and any such witness would be represented by the same law firm, resulting in a potential conflict,” Durham wrote.
Americans have eagerly waited for movement in the Russia collusion case and it looks like things are starting to shake out.
Special Counsel John Durham is undoubtedly taking his time building his case and rightfully so.
The Clintons have proved to be the most slippery political operators to so far avoid prosecution in American history.
