Harvard Just Told Parents to Read a Book by the Man Whose Own Anti-Racism Empire Collapsed in Disgrace

Harvard spent the last year fighting Trump tooth and nail over $2 billion in federal funding it refused to give up.

Now the same university is greeting parents of incoming students with a reading list that teaches your child being white makes them racist.

And Harvard just told parents to read a book by the man whose own anti-racism empire collapsed in disgrace.

The Books Harvard Thinks Your Kid's Parents Should Read

The university's official parent resource page – sitting right under the "Information for Parents" tab on Harvard's website – features a curated "Anti-Racism Resources" section.

The list includes Ibram X. Kendi's How To Be An Anti-Racist.

It includes Robin DiAngelo's White Fragility.

It includes Me and White Supremacy, Raising White Kids, and The New Jim Crow.

And for families with infants – Harvard also recommends Kendi's Anti-Racist Baby, which promises to introduce "the youngest readers" to the "concept and power of antiracism."

Your grandchild isn't in kindergarten yet and Harvard is already working on them.

What These Books Actually Say

This isn't subtle.

DiAngelo wrote in White Fragility that white people are "socialized to feel that they are inherently superior because they are white."

She wrote that "racism is a White problem. It was created by White people."

She also wrote that the question is never "Did racism take place?" – only "How did racism manifest in this situation?"

In other words, if you're white, you're guilty.

The only question is how.

Kendi is worse.

In his 2019 book – the exact one Harvard recommends – he wrote that "the only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination" and "the only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination."

Read that again.

He's arguing that discrimination against white people is not only acceptable – it's necessary and righteous.

He also wrote in a 2003 college newspaper column that Europeans are "simply a different breed of human" who are "raised to be racist."

Harvard put that man's book on the welcome mat for parents of incoming freshmen.

The Part Harvard Left Out

Here's what makes this even richer.

Ibram X. Kendi's own anti-racism center – the one he ran at Boston University with $55 million in donations – collapsed under him.

Boston University shut the Center for Antiracist Research in June 2025 after five years and barely two original pieces of research to show for it.

Kendi cut 19 staff members in 2023 as donations dried up, and leadership reviews found serious problems with workplace culture.

When critics raised questions about his management, Kendi accused them of harboring "racist ideas about a corrupt Black leader."

Harvard's Own House

Gregory Davis – Harvard's former resident dean of Dunster House – was fired earlier this year after social media posts surfaced showing him writing that "whiteness is a self-destructive ideology that annihilates everyone around it."

Davis also wrote that police are "racist and evil," told people to pressure their cop friends to resign, and defended rioting and looting as "parts of democracy just like voting and marching."

He became the dormitory dean in 2024.

His posts ran from 2019 to 2024.

Harvard renamed its DEI department after Trump came after the school – not out of principle, but out of pressure.

The office is now called "Community and Campus Life."

The books, however, stayed on the list.

What Trump Already Knows

The administration froze $2.2 billion in Harvard's federal funding in April 2025 after the school refused demands to end DEI programs, reform admissions, and stop shielding foreign student activists.

Harvard sued.

A federal judge recently ruled in the school's favor – and the administration is appealing.

But the anti-racism resource page tells you everything you need to know about why this fight started.

Harvard took in billions in taxpayer money, trained generations of American leaders, hired administrators who wished the sitting president would die, and is now greeting parents of new students with a reading list that says their kids are racists by birth.

Trump saw exactly what was happening at America's most prestigious university.

He was right.
