George W. Bush has tried to stay out of politics since he left the White House.
But he was drawn into the Presidential race.
And George W. Bush was in bad shape after this awful secret about Kamala Harris leaked.
A member of the Bush family backs Kamala Harris
The Republican establishment has come out in full force behind Vice President Kamala Harris.
Hundreds of RINOs who worked in the administration of former President George W. Bush have endorsed her.
Former Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter RINO Liz Cheney are both backing Kamala.
They’ve been joined by members of John McCain and Mitt Romney’s campaigns in supporting a Democrat Presidential candidate who wants to shred the Constitution by packing the Supreme Court with more left-wing justices.
George W. Bush and his wife former First Lady Laura Bush have not publicly announced who they’re supporting in this election.
But their daughter, Barbara Bush, became the latest member of the establishment to endorse Kamala.
She was not only endorsing the Democrat Presidential candidate; she was going to pound the pavement for her.
Barbara Bush headed to the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania to knock on doors for Kamala.
“It was inspiring to join friends and meet voters with the Harris-Walz campaign in Pennsylvania this weekend,” Barbara Bush told People. “I’m hopeful they’ll move our country forward and protect women’s rights.”
She and her mother are supporters of abortion on demand.
Barbara Bush headlined a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood in 2017 and gushed over the role the abortion factory would play during the Trump administration.
“I am proud to stand with Planned Parenthood not only because women, regardless of where they are from, deserve to live dignified, healthy lives [but] . . . because it’s a really good investment,” Bush said. “We know that when women are healthy, their families and their children are healthier, too.”
George W. Bush claimed to be pro-life but Laura said that abortion should “remain legal because I think it’s important for people for medical reasons and other reasons.”
While her parents claim to be Republicans, Barbara Bush said in 2010 that she doesn’t identify with their party.
George W. Bush admits that he helped Trump
Former President Donald Trump has famously feuded with the Bush family over the years.
George W. Bush said he voted for “None of the Above” and wrote in the name of his former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in the 2020 Election.
Democrats want him to endorse Kamala this year but his office released a statement saying he retired from Presidential politics years ago.
The former President has mostly shied away from politics since leaving the White House.
But he admitted that some of the failures of his Presidency paved the way for Trump’s rise.
Bush told author David Rubenstein that the TARP bank bailouts during the financial crisis helped fuel the rise of populism.
“I listened to (Hank) Paulson and (Ben) Bernanke and spent your money to bail out the guys who created the instruments in the first place, which is an absolute political disaster,” Bush said. “You wonder why populism is on the rise. It starts with taking taxpayers’ money and giving it to the powerful. It really irritated a lot of Americans, and they haven’t gotten over it yet.”
The failures of the Bush administration led to the rise of the Tea Party and eventually Donald Trump.
