Vice President Kamala Harris has been playing it safe during her campaign by sticking to reading a teleprompter and avoiding questions from the press.
The first Presidential held by ABC on September 10 is the first chance for many voters to see her in an unscripted setting.
Former President Donald Trump is looking for a strong showing, and he’s got some help to do it.
Reverend Franklin Graham – the son of the late evangelist Billy Graham – praised Trump on social media for having former Representative Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) help him prepare for the debate.
“I’m glad President Donald J. Trump is working with [Tulsi Gabbard] to prepare for the upcoming debate. She’s a smart lady who always keeps her composure and I’m sure she will be a big help. God has blessed her with a lot of grace and common sense,” Graham wrote on X.

Tulsi Gabbard joins Trump’s debate prep team
Gabbard ran for President in the 2020 Democrat Presidential Primary, where she was known for her clashes with Kamala on the debate stage.
She’s credited for helping end Kamala’s Presidential campaign after obliterating her during the debates.
Gabbard called her an empty suit who wanted to push the same globalist foreign policy as Hillary Clinton.
It was clear that she was getting under the skin of Kamala during the debates.
Gabbard became an Independent because of the Democrat Party’s obsession with wokeness and its growing totalitarian nature.
Her name was touted as a potential running mate for Trump as she became more active in Republican circles.
Trump Campaign Spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt noted that the former Hawaii Congresswoman was consulting Trump about the debate.
“President Trump has proven to be one of the best debaters in political history as evidenced by his knockout blow to Joe Biden,” Leavitt said in a statement. “He does not need traditional debate prep but will continue to meet with respected policy advisors and effective communicators like Tulsi Gabbard, who successfully dominated Kamala Harris on the debate stage in 2020.”
Gabbard said during an appearance on Fox News that Kamala’s handlers are terrified of situations where she has to explain herself.
“I think she revealed in that [July 2019] debate the same thing that I think her campaign handlers are worried about right now . . . Kamala Harris is an empty suit,” Gabbard said.
“They are trying to create this new version of Kamala Harris to match what their pollsters are telling them, so she can say whatever she needs to say to try to win over voters, which is the most offensive thing because they think we’re so stupid as to forget what her record actually is,” Gabbard added.
Donald Trump will have a chance to expose Kamala Harris to the entire country when they square off at the first Presidential debate.
