The Women’s World Cup saw many conservatives rooting against the woke U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team because of their anti-American activism.
The team was slammed for refusing to participate in the pregame national anthem while their competitors enthusiastically embraced their country’s anthems.
Megan Rapinoe, the highest-profile player on the team, kneeled during the national anthem for years to show her support for woke former NFL QB Colin Kaepernick and frequently attacked former President Donald Trump.
The World Cup came to a disappointing end for the Women’s National Team after they delivered their worst performance in tournament history by losing to Sweden on a missed penalty kick by Rapinoe.
And the woke antics of the Women’s National Team cost them the support of the Reverend Franklin Graham.
“The US Women’s National Soccer Team lost to Sweden yesterday at the 2023 Women’s World Cup,” Graham said on social media. “I used to pull for our women’s soccer team, but recently they have shown disrespect for the US & have used their platform to promote the LGBTQ agenda. When they lost, I wasn’t sad.”
Rapinoe, a lesbian, came out in favor of having biological men that identify as transgender competing in women’s sports.
“I wish I didn’t feel that way, but when players think it is more about them than the nation they represent, I can’t support that,” Graham continued. “I agree with former President @realDonaldTrump who said about the team: ‘WOKE EQUALS FAILURE.’”

Former President Donald Trump slammed the Women’s National Team and Rapinoe for missing the crucial penalty kick on Truth Social.
He said that “WOKE EQUALS FAILURE” and mocked Rapinoe by saying “nice shot.”
Rapinoe and Trump have frequently traded barbs over the years.
She said the Women’s Team would skip the customary White House visit after they won the 2019 World Cup.
“Maybe America is great for a few people right now, but it’s not great for enough Americans in this world,” Rapinoe said after the World Cup victory.
Other conservatives joined in slamming the team for their infuriating lack of patriotism in representing their country on the world stage.
“I’m thrilled they lost,” former Fox News host Megyn Kelly said. “You don’t support America, I don’t support you.”
The Women’s National Soccer Team alienated legions of Americans by prioritizing woke politics over representing their country with pride.
