Reverend Franklin Graham has spread the Gospel message across the country.

But he recently undertook one of the most difficult journeys of his career.

And Franklin Graham delivered one message at the border that put Joe Biden to shame.

Reverend Franklin Graham traveled to the border city of Eagle Pass, Texas as part of his 10-city, 1,500-mile God Loves You Frontera Tour.

He and the organization named for his late father, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, are traveling to cities along the U.S.-Mexico border to bring a “life-changing message of hope” to struggling residents in these communities.

Franklin Graham brings a message of hope to the border

Eagle Pass is ground zero for the border crisis that began under President Joe Biden in 2021.

The once-sleepy border town has been overwhelmed with an influx of illegal aliens.

Graham traveled to Shelby Park in Eagle Pass directly across from Mexico where the Biden administration successfully sued Texas to allow the Border Patrol to remove razor wire in the park.

“I’m on the border of Mexico, and of course this is the center of a lot of attention for our country,” Graham told Fox News Digital. “Millions of people have crossed this border into our country.”

He’s traveling to cities on the border like Eagle Pass to preach the Gospel and spread a message of hope to weary residents.

“People down here are discouraged,” Graham said. “I’m talking about the local people, the Texans that live here. It’s tough — the Border Patrol is having a tough time, the state of Texas law enforcement is having a tough time. The people that live here are overwhelmed.”

The challenges facing residents of Eagle Pass and other border cities meant that the Gospel is needed more than ever.

Graham said that this moment is “one of the best opportunities for us to be able to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these people here on the border.”

“Pray for Texas, pray for this border, pray for Mexico. So many people are coming with hungry hearts, hurting hearts,” Graham said. “They don’t know where to go, what to do, and they’re looking for just an opportunity at life.”

They could receive a new life “by putting their faith and trust in God’s Son, Jesus Christ.”

Franklin Graham meets with Donald Trump at the border

During his trip, Graham ran into former President Donald Trump at the airport in Del Rio, Texas in an unexpected surprise for both men.

Trump traveled to Eagle Pass where he held an event with Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

“Look who I ran into at the border today! @realDonaldTrump was a great encouragement to many here,” Graham wrote on social media.

The two exchanged pleasantries and prayed together on the runway.

Continuing on his tour, Franklin Graham is bringing the Good News of the Gospel to weary residents on the border in Texas, Arizona, and California.
