Fox News just made this major move to its programming that left viewers stunned

Following the 2020 election, Fox News saw a 40 percent drop in viewership as many saw the network moving more and more to the Left.

The network continues to make changes to its hosts and lineups.

And now, Fox News just made this major move to its programming that left viewers stunned.

Popular pro-Trump host Greg Gutfeld will now anchor two daily shows on Fox News.

In addition to co-hosting The Five, Gutfeld’s weekend show now moves to five nights a week at 11 PM.

Fox moved Gutfeld’s weekend show, which mixes humor, pop culture references, and politics, to 11 PM to compete with liberal late-night comedians Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel.

Fox News CEO, Suzanne Scott, said in a statement announcing the programming shift that “people need a reason to laugh.”

“Greg’s unique and irreverent talk show has been an incredible success, often beating the late-night broadcast competition, despite its Saturday timeslot. With one of the most loyal and engaged audiences in cable news, we’re thrilled to bring the show to weekday primetime and further solidify Greg’s place among late-night television stars,” Scott’s statement went on to say.

Gutfeld expressed his excitement over the move, “This feels like the perfect next step following the amazing success of the weekend show, which is due in large part to a great staff and a management that lets the show follow its own unique path.”

“Every day someone comes up to me to ask when are we going nightly, so now that we are, there will be approximately 3 million people who will claim it’s their idea,” Gutfeld stated.

There is the same amount of “straight news” programming on Fox as there was before.

Channels like CNN and MSNBC attempt to label left-wing liberals like Chuck Todd, Anderson Cooper, and Don Lemmon as “news anchors” when they are really just opinion hosts.

Fox is just trying to not fool the audience by giving them what they want – opinion programming.
