Democrat Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is under a microscope for her politically-motivated decision to indict Donald Trump.
Willis is lashing out in response.
And Fani Willis melted down after Jim Jordan hit her with this shocking demand.
District Attorney Willis was the third Democrat prosecutor to bring charges against Donald Trump over his actions following the 2020 elections.
These charges overlapped with the charges that President Joe Biden filed against Trump in Washington, D.C., which suggests a strategy of coordination where two Democrat prosecutors filed charges in two separate jurisdictions in an act of redundancy to ensure a conviction.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan announced an investigation into District Attorney Willis to see if her indictment was coordinated with other prosecutors’ actions – specifically Department of Justice Special Counsel Jack Smith.
In his announcement, Chairman Jordan questioned the “timing of this prosecution.”
The Chairman also noted that Willis “you launched a new campaign fundraising website that highlighted your investigation into President Trump.”
Jordan also warned Willis that the Committee was “conducting oversight of this matter” as there are questions about whether or not Jack Smith and Fani Willis coordinated on witness testimony and legal strategy.
Willis responded with a letter that included non-denial denial saying Jordan’s letter was full of “inaccurate information and misleading statements.”
Willis then falsely claimed the “obvious purpose is to obstruct a Georgia criminal proceeding and to advance outrageous misrepresentations. As I make clear below, there is no justification in the Constitution for Congress to interfere with a state criminal matter, as you attempt to do.”
District Attorney Willis then predictably dusted off the Democrat Party playbook and claimed her office suffered racial abuse over the decision to prosecute Trump.
“For your information I am attaching ten examples of threats this office has received…I am providing these examples to give you a window into what has happened to my staff and me as I keep the promise of my oath to the United States and Georgia Constitutions and do not allow myself to be bullied and threatened by Members of Congress, local elected officials, or others who believe lady justice should not be blind and that America has different laws for different citizens,” Willis wrote.
Of all the Democrat prosecutors indicting former President Trump, Fani Willis is the one making it most obvious her case is politically motivated.
Willis initially wanted her trial to start the day before the Super Tuesday primaries, and she forced Donald Trump to pose for a mugshot that Willis hoped would turn into the iconic image of the 2024 Presidential race.
That turned out to be right – but not in the way Willis intended.
Many in the media and on the radical Left were aghast when President Trump’s mugshot became the best fundraising tool the Trump campaign ever got their hands on.
And now that Jim Jordan is calling Willis to account for her blatant acts of election interference, Willis is throwing a temper tantrum.
