Elon Musk has become an enemy of the Left.
They can’t stand the fact that he earnestly believes in the concept of free speech.
And Musk just dropped one bombshell about who he’s voting for in the next election.
Elon Musk is not a conservative.
He was once a darling of the Left – in 2015, Verge hailed him as a Big Tech disruptor.
He had a cameo in the 2010 Marvel film Iron Man 2, something that would never happen today.
Musk is also one of the largest donors to the ACLU, and he produces the most popular electric car on the market.
Despite all of his liberal bona fides, Musk has become an enemy of the Left for refusing to go along with all of the establishment dogma.
Most notably, Musk still believes in free speech, a principle the progressive Left has abandoned, if they ever truly believed in it at all.
And during an appearance on the All-In Summit podcast, Musk said he will vote GOP in the upcoming Midterms.
Musk explained, “I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, historically. Like I’m not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear . . . Now this election I will.”
He further elaborated in a tweet:
In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party.
But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican.
Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold … 🍿

Musk echoes the sentiments of millions of Americans who believe that the Democrats have gone too far to the Left.
Musk even retweeted a cartoon that depicted the phenomenon of liberals moving wildly to the fringes, then casting everyone to their right as bigots.

Colin Wright, the creator of the cartoon, has experienced this himself.
Wright is an evolutionary biologist who refused to go along with the far-left transgender movement and he was chased out of academia for his transgressions.
He is one of many disaffected liberals who finds himself more at home with conservatives today.
Musk’s revelation that he will vote Republican is perhaps indicative of a trend that began in the off-year elections of 2021.
Parents who were infuriated by COVID school closures and radical curriculum being taught propelled political newcomer Glenn Youngkin to Governor of Virginia over prominent Democrat Terry McAuliffe.
Republicans and non-woke Democrats did much better than expected in other elections around the country.
As for 2022, Republicans have a commanding lead in the generic Congressional ballot, which spells doom for the Democrats.
If the generic ballot is neck and neck, Democrats tend to lose.
The RealClearPolitics average has Republicans up 2.6 points, which even NBC News host Chuck Todd called “shellacking territory” for the Democrats.
Musk is the canary in the coal mine for the Democrats, but they refuse to heed the warning signs.
