Saturday night at Soldier Field, before playing "Speaking Terms," she told the crowd something she said she never used to do.
"I went every show of my life without even mentioning His name, to not being able to shut up about it," she told the audience.
That's not a PR line.
That's a woman who found something real.

Langley didn't give fans the polished version.
She gave them the truth.
Just over a year ago, things got so dark that she canceled tour dates and admitted she "didn't think I wanted to be here anymore."
She battled depression, imposter syndrome, and a panic attack backstage at the ACM Awards – the same night she walked out with five trophies.
She went home to Alabama.
When she finally found her Bible, it had been sitting untouched long enough to collect dust.
"Every day, I was in the Word," she said. "That is the thing that saved my life last year."
She wasn't vague about what she used to run to instead.
In Oklahoma City one week earlier, she stood on a different stage and told a crowd: "Instead of trying to go to other things like I have before – either men or drugs or other feelings – to try to make myself feel a certain way, I go to Him first."

A Song That Sounds Like Everyone's Secret Prayer
"Speaking Terms" is the track on Dandelion that captures everything she's been saying from those stages.
It's a spare acoustic ballad about a believer who drifted – someone who felt like their prayers were bouncing off the ceiling.
Langley explained to the Chicago crowd why she fought to put it on the album.
"I've done things in my life that makes me feel not worthy of this song," she said. "But who makes me feel worthy is Him. I'm always worthy. He's gonna meet me where I'm at, no matter where I'm at."
The song asks one simple question that millions of Americans have whispered in the dark: Are You and me still on speaking terms?
Judging by the response those crowds are giving her – the standing ovations, the videos going viral – a lot of people needed to hear someone say that out loud.

Ella Langley grew up Southern Baptist in Hope Hull, Alabama, in a congregation so grassroots it held its first services in a barn.
She didn't discover faith when she got famous. She came back to the faith she was born into – and she recorded Dandelion co-produced with Miranda Lambert.
That's not a TikTok star chasing a trend.
That's the real thing.
At Country Radio Seminar earlier this year, she put it plainly: "I started to view the days we have been given as a gift instead of a chore."

That's just what happens when someone realizes the world couldn't fill the hole that God already claimed.
The pop world spent years telling America that faith was for the weak and the simple.
Country music never bought it.
