Joe Biden turned immigration courts into an asylum assembly line – approving half of all asylum claims and letting the backlog explode to nearly four million cases.
Trump's judges are now processing that backlog like a freight train.
And the open-borders lobby just admitted they have one strategy left to stop it.
79,000 Deportation Orders in a Single Month
Trump's immigration courts issued 79,000 deportation orders in June alone.
That's triple what Biden's courts were producing when he left office.
Biden's judges approved asylum for roughly 50 percent of applicants.
Trump's judges approved it for 5.5 percent.
Andrew Arthur, a former immigration court judge now with the Center for Immigration Studies, put it plainly.
"They are plowing through these cases like a freaking snowplow in Utah snow," Arthur said.
The backlog Biden left behind has already dropped from nearly 4 million cases to under 3.5 million – the first sustained decline in at least a decade.
Biden inherited 1.3 million pending cases when he took office.
He handed Trump 3.8 million.
That's what four years of open-border policy looks like on paper.
Trump Rewired the System From the Top Down
This didn't happen by accident.
Trump fired immigration judges with the lowest removal rates.
He hired 143 new judges – many recruited specifically as "deportation judges" – and brought in retired Marine Col. Daren Margolin to run the entire system.
Margolin had quit the bench under Biden.
His reason: "Personally, I felt like a co-conspirator in treason."
He's back now, and the results speak for themselves.
More than 1,300 "mega hearings" were held in June alone – nearly triple the number from June 2025 – where individual judges process 100 or more cases in a single session.
Deportation orders tripled for Romanians and doubled for Haitians, Turks, Georgians, and Chileans.
Orders for Chinese migrants jumped 51 percent.
The July numbers are expected to be even higher.
The Left Has One Play Left and Percival Just Exposed It
So they've switched to a single strategy: find activist judges willing to block deportations long enough to run out Trump's term.
DHS General Counsel James Percival called it out directly.
"They view the Trump administration as a four-year hourglass, and they see the sand falling, and they know if they can just get enough crazy district judges to do enough crazy things, they can run out the clock," Percival said.
He named Biden-appointed Judge Brian Murphy in Boston as the strategy in action.
Murphy tried to block a deportation flight to South Sudan – one Percival says was carrying eight aliens, including a man who had raped a child and another who had raped a mentally disabled person.
"These were very bad people that should not be in our country," Percival said. "And this Judge Brian Murphy was stopping us from doing this."
The Supreme Court stepped in and overruled Murphy.
That's the game now – activist judges protecting child rapists from deportation while Trump's team fights all the way to SCOTUS to finish the job.
Americans Are Already Winning
The deportations are already producing results for ordinary Americans, and the media won't say it.

Employers who spent years bypassing American workers with cheap migrant labor are now raising wages to fill the gap.
A facility in Staten Island raised its sign-on bonus from $2,000 to $6,000 to attract workers.
Elder-care companies in Massachusetts are opening training programs specifically to bring Americans into jobs Haitian TPS workers left behind.
Multiple facilities have raised wages across the board – because the migrant labor pipeline Biden built is being dismantled one deportation order at a time.
Every illegal alien deported is a job returned to an American who was shut out.
The June numbers are historic.
July will be higher.
And the hourglass the left is watching – the one they're counting on to save them – keeps running.
