The women’s national soccer team has become a woke disgrace.
Their World Cup run ended in embarrassing fashion.
And Donald Trump went nuclear on woke soccer player Megan Rapinoe with this epic truth bomb.
The U.S. Women’s National Team has gotten attention for all the wrong reasons at the World Cup.
Many of the players exhibited disgraceful anti-American behavior while representing their country by refusing to put their hands over their hearts or sing the national anthem while it played.
Some of the players had closed fists behind their backs during the anthem with a nasty scowl on their faces.
The team led by Megan Rapinoe is more interested in woke politics than representing their country on women’s soccer’s biggest stage.
Rapinoe is an America-hating prima-donna who kneeled for the national anthem to stand in solidarity with disgraced former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
The rest of the team fell in line with her, which included a shocking display at the 2019 Women’s World Cup where most of the team kneeled during the national anthem.
The team, who was the favorite coming in to win the World Cup, suffered an upset loss to Sweden in penalty kicks that became the earliest-ever exit from the tournament by the women’s team.
Rapinoe sent a penalty kick sailing over the top of the goal with the game on the line to send Sweden to the next round.
That was the final game for Rapinoe with the U.S. team after she announced that she was retiring after the tournament.
Former President Donald Trump torched Rapinoe after she missed the penalty shot on his Truth Social platform.
“The ‘shocking and totally unexpected’ loss by the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team to Sweden is fully emblematic of what is happening to our once great Nation under Crooked Joe Biden,” Trump said. “Many of our players were openly hostile to America – No other country behaved in such a manner, or even close. WOKE EQUALS FAILURE. Nice shot Megan, the USA is going to Hell!!! MAGA.”
The U.S. team’s conduct was a stark contrast to other countries who were visibly patriotic during their national anthems.
Many conservatives were openly rooting against the team’s success because of their woke virtue signaling.
The women’s team went woke and suffered their worst performance in World Cup history.
This became the latest saga in the feud between Trump and Rapinoe.
She said in 2019 that the team wouldn’t make a traditional White House visit if they won the World Cup that year.
“Thanks, but no thanks. I’m not going to the f—ing White House,” Rapinoe said. “No. I’m not going to the White House, I don’t think we’ll be invited, I doubt it.”
Trump slammed her for turning down a visit after the team won the World Cup.
“Megan should never disrespect our Country, the White House, or our Flag, especially since so much has been done for her & the team,” Trump said.
Megan Rapinoe closed out her career representing the U.S. by face-planting on the world stage.
