Liz Cheney is trying to continue her vendetta against Donald Trump.
But she’s humiliating herself every step of the way.
And Donald Trump was all smiles after Liz Cheney made one surprising promise.
Liz Cheney’s political career as the biggest RINO in the Washington, D.C. Swamp seemingly came to an end after she was trounced by her Trump-backed opponent, Harriet Hageman, in Wyoming’s GOP Congressional primary.
Unlike most politicians, who can take a hint when primary voters hand them a humiliating 37-point loss, Cheney doesn’t know when to quit.
Now she’s doubling down on her anti-Trump insanity in the wake of her landslide primary defeat.
Cheney is promising to campaign against Trump-backed candidates who questioned the results of the 2020 election ahead of November’s Midterm elections by supporting their Democrat opponents.
But at the Texas Tribune Festival, Cheney made an announcement about her political future that will leave conservatives jumping for joy.
Cheney was asked about her political future after her term in Congress was up.
She said her main goal was keeping Donald Trump from making a return to the White House in 2024.
“I’m going to make sure Donald Trump, I’m going to do everything I can to make sure he is not the nominee, and if he is the nominee, I won’t be a Republican,” Cheney said.
Donald Trump is the overwhelming favorite to win the Republican nomination for President if he announces another run for the office.
Cheney played around with the delusional idea she could stop Trump in a Republican Presidential Primary with the encouragement of the corporate-controlled media.
A Presidential bid from Trump would be the end of Cheney keeping up the charade that she’s still actually a Republican.
A potential GOP primary challenge to Trump would just lead to yet another humiliating landslide primary defeat for Cheney with her support likely amounting to little more than a rounding error.
After serving as Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s top lapdog on the sham January 6 Committee, Cheney told the Texas Tribune Festival audience “it’s a tough question” when asked which party she wanted in control of Congress.
“It’s a tough question. I think that the policies of the Biden administration, there are a lot of bad policies, for example – what we’re seeing now with inflation, what we’re seeing with respect to government spending,” Cheney said.
“I think it’s really important though, as voters are going to vote, that they recognize and understand what the Republican Conference consists of in the House of Representatives today, and how much power the election deniers, the people like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert and Jim Jordan, how much power those people will have in a Republican majority,” Cheney added.
Here Cheney is, mulling a potential Republican Presidential bid, but can’t even say if she wants Pelosi keeping control of the House.
Donald Trump winning the 2024 GOP Presidential nomination could see the party finally get rid of RINO Liz Cheney for good.
