Donald Trump doesn’t live his life cowering in fear.
Now, he’s making one of the boldest moves of his life.
And Donald Trump told the Secret Service to go to hell with this shocking message.
Donald Trump vows to continue order rallies after shooting
Former President Donald Trump has turned political rallies into a staple of his campaigns dating back to 2015.
He’s used outdoor rallies at fairgrounds, airports, and other outdoor venues in areas where an arena can’t accommodate the expected crowd or one isn’t available.
But everything changed when he was shot in the ear by a gunman at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The Secret Service committed multiple egregious security failures to allow the shooter to get on top of a building with a clear line of sight of him.
Trump has exclusively held indoor rallies since his shooting.
The Secret Service warned him against holding anymore outdoor rallies because of the security risks.
Staying indoors would prevent him from rallying in rural areas – where he has a strong base of support – where no stadium or arena is available.
Trump vowed to return to holding outdoor rallies in defiance of the Secret Service.
“I will continue to do outdoor rallies, and Secret Service has agreed to substantially step up their operation,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “They are very capable of doing so.”
The Secret Service needs to do its job and protect Trump and rallygoers.
Stopping him from holding outdoor rallies is nothing more than election interference from the Biden administration.
Donald Trump is returning to Butler, Pennsylvania after the shooting
Former Homeland Security official Michael Balboni slammed the Secret Service for telling Trump not to hold outdoor rallies.
“The Secret Service now advising Donald Trump that he shouldn’t hold outside rallies is ridiculous,” Balboni told Fox News Digital. “That is an admission the Secret Service suddenly can’t handle outdoor venues. What have they been doing for the last 20 years? Doing that. So why now? That was such an admission, that the service, with all of its resources and assets, can’t protect in an open environment.”
Balboni said that restricting a candidate to indoor rallies is unparalleled.
“Barack Obama had 80,000 people at his rallies – could you tell him that?” Balboni said. “When Barack Obama became President there was a huge concern internally as to the assassination threats against him as the first black President. So they stepped it up. What happened to that here?”
Trump announced on Truth Social he is going to hold another rally in Butler, where he was nearly assassinated.
“I WILL BE GOING BACK TO BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA, FOR A BIG AND BEAUTIFUL RALLY, HONORING THE SOUL OF OUR BELOVED FIREFIGHTING HERO, COREY, AND THOSE BRAVE PATRIOTS INJURED TWO WEEKS AGO,” Trump wrote. “WHAT A DAY IT WILL BE — FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT! STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS.”
Retired Fire Chief Corey Comperatore was killed protecting his family at the rally.
Donald Trump is not going to let fear or the Biden administration handicap him from outdoor rallies during the crucial upcoming stretch of the campaign.
